Yeah it shouldn't be any harder than just painting on top of paint. And if you clear coat the paint you won't flake or chip. I wonder if someone makes a decal like that...

SockMonkey on www.tacomaworld.com makes some seriously kick@$$ decals and stickers..!! I got a few ideas into him but he's so in demand that he's not really doing any custom stuff now but everyone with a Toy should checkout what he's doing with the decals. Fricken awsome......

yeah that's my favorite. he's got a version with the first mountain green too. I just found his site mentioned on here a couple days ago. I got the question into him about doing the retro style decals but he's pretty adimate that he's over-whelmed and putting custom jobs on hold for a bit. fine with me cause i'm pretty far from my paint adventure.... guess i'm waiting to see how you alls is going to come out...... lol

..... no let me mention: I've only seen his stuff and read about it on the forum.... I can't attest to the quality. STUFF JUST LOOKS AWSOME, and the people on the posts have no complaints I've seen.......

far as i can tell they are decals (thats what everyone on that forum keeps calling them)....

 

So insomnia ridin shotgun tonight..... This is what I envision for the truck.... OEM is decals on the side and hood. With no one makin the decals (at least affordable) I'm thinkin I can do it with paint and creative blue tapin..... anyone see any follies in my thinkin??? (other then my wife....)

That was only the major stuff there were a lot of dents and dings that i pulled out and a few small rust spots that i had to take care of.

 

The countdown is ON! .....btw, where's the countdown at? hahahaha.
