They just help with load...I think I got 1" when I put them on. There is also an adjustment for the stiffness on them. I have them on the hardest or almost hardest setting. I also have a broken leaf so they do help me. As for the off road I can't see them hurting anything.

i say you just search craigslist for 31's. there are tons of people who sell 31s for real cheap up there. heck i sold my set of 31x10.50 bfg all terrains on a set of 15x8 american racing outlaw 2's for 150 bucks. lol

do you have a photo of these installed by chance?

haha never mind here we go, found this thread. pretty good info and reviews. but nothing really wheeling related though, looks like it might help a little with axle wrap as well. :

I'm not going to go the AAL though, I am gonna do the OME 2" leaves. Pretty cheap for a pair of leaf springs.

If i added BJ spacers up front and OME 2" leaves in the rear, my car would sit an EVEN 2" higher? Or would the back be lower than the front or vice versa?

not sure, havent run them yet. even if I did, would be hard to tell cus I got the flatbed. NO rear fender well to show how far it is really squatting.

oh you still gonna want that 102" and stuff I got? If you do, yur still gonna need the 18' of cable.
