Ok, heads will be sent out tomorrow, the block still has the crank inside. hope to get it Thursday, however, work 16 hours Friday. good news off Saturday.

pictures of the engine...............from tonight.........

it appears that this 4.3 V6 had been re-build before. the engine was removed from a boat and no history. It looks like it needed a rebuild, so that may have just replace the V6....

still I have another V6 4.3 just in case

I was doing some cutting and measuring today on my truck.I found that with the core cut and some of the metal removed around the radiator area that a s10 4.3 radiator fits almost perfect. So hang on to one if you have it.Im going to use one with my 350.

Thanks, Jeff. News from my son is that one of the heads may have a crack near one on the plugs, not sure right now, we will send it out to a shop for more information. I still have another complete block if needed

I have a new Aluminum 22R radiator, hoping it will keep the 4.3 cool. Thanks for the information

Ouch on the cracked heads, at least you still have others and they match. That would be great on getting the block done, always helps for the next steps. Hope things go a little better this go areound.

Thanks all for the comments. Basically the Boat 4.6 block I'm using (hope to use) it's going to my son's friend's shop soon. (FREE) The Heads from the other 4.3 look ok, and we will know soon. Before I buy parts for the 4.3 I'm waiting on news on the block.

I also has a 350 V8 just in case

Now for the tranny (GM TH-350) My son got permission to re-build it at school as a project for class (that will save me some money...lol) It will be a manual shift automatic

The transfer case is a toyota one and looks great so nothing there.

Already has the adapter between trans and t-case

This setup was from a 4.3 V6 toyota pickup swap that had major frame damage (RUST)

Did not do any thing to the toyota yesterday, worked on the F-350 and changed the oil in the Jetta. only had Saturday off, working thru to Friday. Overtime.....yep money for toys for the toy

Received my Differential Armor (on Sale: $28.35) from addictedoffroad for the front and will get on for the rear
