Talking Zuk mod!

Just got done with doing my zuk mod on my 87 4runner. Did the no cut mod. Used old 04' gs300 rear springs. Don't know the load on them but both was 12.5" (almost) long. Feels like the rear is higher when you get in. How do i know if the rear drum brakes are still working. The rear is on the stock load sensor system. I hope its still working. Will take pictures 2morrow.

My zuk mod i did. Used old gs300 springs. If you look at the tire its rubbing too took it out too see. I like it big time just might have too use small springs.

Top was driver rear, lower pics is passenger side.

The 4x4 low is smooth i like for stock.
P.S. Also got my power windows hooked up. My luck blow out the driver side switch (switch kit from jeggs) ordering another kit for the driverside and gonna use the extra switch for the rear window

fuel pump!

so I went too the bank too pull some cash. had too toll the demon home. it started too stall. on and off intill it cut out. the motor stopped and cranks but no fire. I hope its just the pump. no fuel in the lines when you turn it too on. nothing. so lets get this going now. fun, fuel pumps are not cheap. So gonna save for pump, fuel filter plus ah switch.

hope the fuel pump fixes it for ya! On your Zuk mod, does the tire rub the coil spring all the time, or just when you're flexing it out on obsticles? I used some Jeep TJ front coils springs without any issues.

Got it running. But it wasn't the fuel pump it was the black circuit rely from behind the glove box. Changed that one out with one from the junk yard. Got three total from there. It started right up and stayed strong. Testing it again 2morrow, but gonna take it out saturday big time.

Smile I think front left side (driver side) need new shock bad.

Was wheeling today and while driving i felt the driver front wheel having alot of play in it. Plus when tou make right turns that wheel dips alot more then the right side does(when turning left). Gotta save up for new set all around.

Talking Bilstein shocks came IN

Ok so my bilsteins for the front came in. what i thought too be good but old rancho's rs90000 in the front, i replaced one of the fronts (driver side front) cause it was totaled dead. Had some trouble installing it. The bottom mount holes for the shock was bent too the back (front of the car, back of the car) so the shock wouldn't fit right. Had too bend and tap stuff back in line so the shock would slide in right. After that i put everything back on and give it a test drive
I love the bilsteins (even if it was only one). From what i can tell the only good shock is the new bilstein i just put in. The other three (compared too the new one) are dead as well. Gonna have too order two new ones for the rear. Gonna get home 2morrow and install the right side front shock too, get the front done with at least the shocks. Will have pictures up 2morrow. UPS guy came hella late.
