Cool 22RTE websites

So I just got my 22RTE powered 4runner so I am new to the site, but after searching around I haven't really found a whole lot of info about my truck. I went out on the hunt on the web just trying to find some basic info on my motor like CR, what type or turbo I have, whats the factory boost level, what kind of performance options do I have, etc. And I have stumbled on some very helpfull websites that I didn't know if people where aware of on here so I figured I would post them. Check them out.

Jeff's 22RTE site, lots of cool info on upgrading the CT-20 turbocharger and a ton of links.

Another good site.

Bill Lantz runs a 22R-TE site called Elite Turbo Toys.

TEC a company that makes a direct bolt on garrett T3 turbo upgrade for the 22RTE.

Pic of the turbo kit.

Actually 160 hp, and also a measly 116 lb ft of torque, bleh.

Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races.

but its not a yota, 8 grand is a cool selling point but sounds like crap in those little 4s and is worthless for daily driving, no one wants to be cruising around north of 5 grand just to get a little torque and horsepower

You may have also found that the turbo's like to crack around 60k-80K miles. Too much heat stress with no intercooler.

So how do I know if my turbo is cracked? Would I notice any performance problems? I have 160k on my motor btw.

Too bad almost nobody(if anybody)with a 95.5-2004 Tacoma or 96-2002 4Runner has a 22RTE in it!

And everybody that does have a 22RTE won't even be able to find this thread with all these links to cool 22RTE sites in the correct forum.

Brilliant!

Sorry, but it's becoming a pet peeve of mine. I mean come on!? 95.5-2004 Tacomas & 96-2002 4Runners? 22RTE!? Seriously!?
