Oil Starved Destruction of a 3VZe

Last spring i opened my oil pan and cleared out a ton of RTV/Prematex/LiquidGasket from the oil pick-up screen, probably 70% of the screen was clogged. Here is the result (pitting on the pistons is due to a lean condition , i think)

Brown cams

Pitted Piston

Scored Cylinder walls, you can feel them

^^^ uh...wow who let you in here?...ha

I think there is about 50k on that block. it has got to be the worse rebuild i have ever seen, and i have seen some pretty ghetto stuff in my life. If you go back thru my thread i point out the other external ghetto rigged stuff.
It really is a a shame, the head gasket marks on the head and block show absolutely no sign of leakage or leading to leakage. I have new heads to put on, but the bottom end being so screwed up, i am afraid it's a time bomb now.

Yes i know people don't like the 3.0, but i liked mine(until i could get a diesel), way more power then the 22re, timing belt not chain and did i mention more power.

4bt:
4B3.9, 679 pounds 4BT3.9, 705 pounds 4BTA3.9, 725 pounds better think twice about a mill that heavy

Torque isn't going to matter if it weighs twice as much as your truck was designed to carry in the front, not to mention making it a rattletrap. I'll stick with a yota greaser putting down a measly 260ftlbs sans rockitchip.

No update really.
Gonna put the 3.0 back together and hope she hold for a few trips.

The 1kd project will not be stifled by this, but it will be a few months after I purchase it before I have the halfcut in my possession. So time is not on my side.
