Well here goes! This is my recently purchased, very stock "yuk" 1990 4runner. Lots o plans for this thing! Here are the stats, 3.0 engine, 4.56 gears, strait drive, chain tcase, and some cancer.

Here's the plans!

2. sas with all the goodies
3. sliders, bumpers, and winch
4. engine swap, tranny rebuild, and geardrive tcases

Thanks

Didn't mention someone broke the power mast off of mine to. Found a nice used non-power unit at the junk yard after finding out what a new power unit cost at the stealership. Wish I could have found an 88 like yours, being able to take the cover of in the summer would be awsome!

looks like a good build.
upload your pictures to a free hosting service like photobucket.com and than you can copy and paste the [IMG] code under or to the right of your pictures.

There is some builds where some chops look great, others not so much.

I say ditch the rear coils or rework the back design.. I went with leafs and am much happier than with the coils out back.

And as far as cutting the rear cover off, probabley not gonna do that. I kayak and board outta this thing, would get kinda cold in the winter!
