That's cool... I just scored a driverside exhaust manifold for my 302 for free, my other one was cracked all the way around... So what do you have left to do besides the exhaust to get this beast ready for some trails?

I wasnt planning on beating the firewall in,why do you say that? The hi temp paint is for the ramhorn manifolds. The exhaust will run from the drivers side under the front of the oil pan into a y where it will meet the other pipe, then out the back in a single 3 inch pipe.No beating required. And its enough exhaust according to thecfm rateing to support 325hp.

That sucks that they didn't have any studs for your exhaust manifold... just curious what color and brand hi temp paint you are going to use, I need to get some for mine too. Look forward to some pics after you are done painting them!

If you get a match pair of ramhorns the drivers is longer than the passanger manifold. If you grab 2 passanger side manifolds they are shorter and will fit fine.

ramhorns

These are the two passanger manifolds if you get a drivers side one the dump will be about 2-3 in longer.

I was told by the so salled ” local master” that the only factory manifolds that work good are the ramhorns.Looking at the truck though it appears rear dumps would work, but Im not trying to do anything fancy, just functional.I dont think ill be lacking hp enough to need true duals.

Bored

So as you all know im bored.I have decided to attempt a "new to me" mod.I have determined that I am very capable of doing the IFS steering box mod,to allow hydraulic lines to connect.I am also capable of mounting just about any kind of powersteering pump I can think of,on my engine. The only thing I have no idea about is the ram. What kind I need, what style.I know I can buy one from TG,but I would rather buy one at farmers exchange.I just dont know what to ask for,Any help?
