Nice, I really need to start upgrading in the tool department, I get tired of doing everything with a grinder, drill or dremel, lol.

There is a super nice wirefeed on craigs list for 400$, If I had a truck id sell mine and buy it.But really since you have a welder get a torch. Its super versitile and if you get good almost as good as plasma.I dont know if I would buy a plasma cutter or bandsaw after that.Oh yea get a good chopsaw too.My next major purchase is going to be a nice fixture table.

Nice on the torch, I wouldn't try it with out a plasma cutter.

You know why I like plasma cutter, because it's alive.....lol

Nice work

Yeah, I've been wanting a chop saw forever, I've built 2 flatbeds and my a trailer frame using a 4 1/2" mikata grinder to make all the cuts.It would be nice to be able to make a 45° cut in one pass, lol. I think the chopsaw would be next on my list, then probably a torch over a plasma, mainly due to the price.

Frame

You can see one of the inside pieces of the other frame rail, on the other side.

Frame looks good, you may have to put some weight in the back...

I have had the truck completely put together.Completely put together with the NEW nwor springs up front (5”) and the used chev 63” springs and current shackles, it sat about 2-3inches high in front.I hope after this and a front bumper+ winch, that it sits level.

DAYUM! Nice mounts, man! Yep, just need that couple hundred pounds on them mounts and VOILA, 'sinkage'! lol. If you're big enough you could get SOME idea of how it will come down with bit of weight in there.. Just stand on the mounts? hehehe.

NICE WORK, ONE EYE!

The front x member/spring hanger is made from .250 wall 2x2 square tube. That is plated front and rear with 1/4 inch plate. Then these re enforcement plates.Once it is all put together and welded id hate to be the yugo that pulls out in front of me.It still needs quite a bit of fitting.

frame

I got all of the pieces finished for the frame.Everything that needs welded is tacked where it needs to be.I put her on the trailer. She is headed up to Autobahn Auto Care, with my welder, grinder and a few other items. This Saturday night its time to burn her to the ground (maybe). Then bring her home Sunday and start putting it together again.
