Why?Does it not look street legal? I told my girlfriend that I needed to build this truck to take crap to the dump and to bring home bushes and trees, from lows, for her.lol.It must be able to perform these dutys.

Update
So,Travis Albert and I, took the truck up and finished about 3/4 of the welding before my welder took a dump.It needs a new fan motor.I am currently looking for a welder to borrow.I have a few I can choose from, im just lazy.Soon though.Anyway, Rosco (jeepin buddy) called me yesterday and said he picked me up a brand new lockrite for my truck.Awsome.I got it today.Unfortunately, it is lockrite 6015 and I need 6010.6015 is for a Tacoma or T100.I have been wanting a little more width in the rear axle dept so I think a T100 rear end is in order. This sucks, because my rear axle is beautiful. So if you know anybody,I am looking for a great working T100 rear axle in 4.10, to trade for mine.

Hey Brian that's cool that you guys got most of the welding done on your truck, sucks about your welder though... I don't know of anyone with a t100 rearend, but I'll keep a look out, that will be sweet with the lockrite! How much wider is the t100 rearend?

Well I ordered up a trail gear pitman arm today with a 1 ton chevy tre ream.I also went to six states today, and ordered the rear driveline with spicer 1350, yea I said 1350 joints.

Hey Brian sounds like you got some nice parts coming. So are you using a Toyota steering box and pitman arm and just reaming it to fit a Chevy draglink/ tierod end?...you should be able to give it hell with that rear driveline, lol
#354
Yes,im useing a toyota ifs box. Before I install it, it'l probably going to be drilled and tapped for hydralic assist-later on, capped off for now.The pitman arm is a trail gear unit, with 3/4 inch less drop, already reamed for the 7/8 tierod end.And yea, when I handed the guy the driveline parts and told him what I wanted, and that it was for a Toyota he told me I was wasting money. He said 1310 would last forever,1330 indestructable,1350 a waste of money.

Yeah, they don't have a lot of ground clearance, kinda a rock magnet, lol...I saw em make one into a front steering axel on an episode of Extreme 4x4 once, something different, lol

Sounds like good insurance to me, lol.
