Glad the eyes ok. Truck looks great. Unless you have tire clearance problems I probably wouldn't do a body lift I think it looks great in relation to the tires. I have a nice "parts" truck that's complete with a mildly bent frame. I need to find a frame straighter. Any chance your in Washington? Keep up the good work
Yeah I have a little clearnce problems.

I been doing a lot browsing here lately on bobbed beds. I'm highly considering bobbing the bed on this thing. I have all the tools needed and I'm a excellent welder so I do not think it will be hard to do

I been searching bumpers as well. I'd really like to build a set but I'm also considering a few tube bumpers that I've seen. Man I wish I had a tube bender

The main reason for the body lift is so that I have no rub at all. It also helps out on accessing certain bolts. One of these days I'd like to run a 35" tire and maybe a engine swap. So who knows. A SAS may come once I finish up my 87.

I like the idea of a bobbed bed. And if you have the welding skills, I would dive into the bumper project as well. You can pick up a simple hydraulic pipe bender from harbor freight. That's whAt I use to bend stuff for my rig.
Although I don't like body lifts, there's no denying that it gives you waaaaay more access to certain areas of the vehicle. My buddies reg cab that we put a SBc into has a body lift, and it has made things alot easier.

It's this one.

I use it in the auto shop with my students. If I had the money I would definitely spring for something better and easier to use.

I didn't get to meet with the frame guy on Sunday. I'm assuming something came up on his end.
Today I replaced my funky antenna with the factory one. I also redid my exhaust.
As for the exhaust, I removed my cat and installed a 30 series flow master. It's a 2 1/4 inlet and dual 2" outlets. I just put 2 nice chrome turndowns on it. It has a really deep rumble but highway noise is a little loud. Shouldn't be to bad once I get tailpipes. I will post a video tomorrow.

Umm I kinda did my own little EGR mod. But yeah it's gone along with some other stuff. I'd love to remove half the other unused stuff but I do not know what needs to stay and what can go.
I live in WV. We do have a vehicle inspection however its a visual inspection. No rust holes, tires can't stick past fenders no more then 2". We have a hight limit. Not to bad though. As far as emissions, you can do whatcha want.

Yeah the plates are just cleaner.
I was looking at getting the complete deal from LC. I would like to get completely desmogged and all prior to buying all the plates. My truck had factory air so I have all those plug-ins and vacuum lines that need disposed of along with a few other things. I'm just unsure were to start. I'm trying to clean as much junk out of my engine bay as possible. Keep in mind I have to replace the entire front clip. So what's not needed will be less to put back. And a header will be coming soon. I have the TriY headed on my carbed 87. I'm unsure of what I want for this one.

I love lc's stuff, cant afford it though. KelvinB made me plates. Plenty of threads on here that tell you what sensors n vac lines you dont need. Im in the process of doing it myself on my runner.
