lizard lips' 1991 Truggy Build-Up Thread

I picked up boogers old rid a while back and haven't done much to it lately. But I'm finally getting around to build it. The specs will be a cpi 4.3 a jet th350 and dual 23 spline toy cases with a 4.7 in the rear and marlins rotated adapter. here's the pics when I got it home.

After I finished the spring hanger.

Started collecting parts for it

4.3 with air compressor out of the ac compressor

Put some 38x15 boggers on it and moved it to my new house.

So I can actually stop better. 1 ton brakes makes it easier to stop with a toyota booster and 1 ton axles

Should have the dana 44 out and the 60 in this weekend

tubing material. 1.75" DOM .250" wall, and 1.5" DOM .250 wall.

Radiator I'm using. For a nova or chevy II
28" wide, 18.5" tall and 2" thick at the radiator and 3" thick at the tanks

Some updates for you all. Here's some pics of the rear tubework

I'll have the rear axle sitting about where it is when I'm done

1/4 ellips buckets.

Cut the rear axle off. Swapping it with my other axle on my other truck. Need to build the truss and weld the link tabs on.

WOW. What an awesome project. You hit the lottery or something?

Are you mounting the radiator in the back?

No, no lottery winner here. I sold off parts I had from my last truck to fund everything so far. Well mostly. The radiator will be in the front. The motor will be moved back about 3-4 more inches.

thanks guys. I'm going to pick up some more 60's this weekend. Probably going to use one of the ones I'm picking up. it's a single wheel version.
