so you're ditching the quarter elipses? how did they work out for you?
is the leaf sprung front not going to be able to keep up with the rear or what?

The 1/4 ellips I'll probably run at first I have them and they are free. If I don't like them I'll just go with coilover or airshocks if I have to.
The front does have leafs right now. They are toy rears. They seem to flex really well. I have the same set as I do on my other truck and every toy I've built. I like to fly down the road to the next obsitcle. Linking the front will help with the bumps. Also no more axle wrap or wheel hop.

some more updates. Took the toy cases off. Sold the dual case adapter, rear case and crossmember. Getting an adapter from OTT to put a dana 300 behind the first case. Just waiting on parts again.

quick and probably stupid question...why do you only have one ubolt on the right side of that front axle? it seems like you cant really get another one on due to the placement of the diff.

Started to take the 60 apart. Don't forget to hit the pin out on the bottom side of the caliper to get the caliper off. Don't just hit the damn thing for an hour thinking what the hell am I missing.
and then once you get it off it looks like this in no time. Just a 100 pound rotor and hub.
Got the single wheel done and the high steer arms on. Oh and you can see the extra Chevy 60 I keep tripping over there too.
And the new bling wheel and tire combo

Picked up 2 sets of 17" Bilstein coilovers. $600 for all 4. 2 are emulsion with dual rate and 2 are resevoir with dual rate and coils.
Also picked up four 4" fox bumps with cans for $200
Completed most of the truss. just going to add some braces and also tie the truss the the pinion bolt things and probably make my own pinion guard.
Made the lower links. 1.75 DOM .250 wall sleeved with 2.25 DOM .250 wall with Ballistic joints at each end
The last pic I have for tonight is the 44 boggers I put on the rear. It's at full bump right now. Test fitting coilovers and everything else.

I also got a box of brackets for the front 3 link and a ifs toy box tapped for hydro for $100
Better pic of the rear truss without the bracing. I'm watching football and not working right now.
