Hi everyone. Trying to find more information about these vents.
If anyone can tell me what they are used for, and if they are out there for sale anywhere. I am curious how they are used in conjunction with the standard/regular vents located underneath these. If I was able to locate a pair is cutting into the existing original top of your dash required? Sorry for the "dumb' questions just trying better understand the benefits other then they look cool and where/how the air would flow from them. My 1981 ( non SR5) truck isn't equipped a/c but the after-market dash cover that came with it has pre-cut holes for them

Reason: grammar
My 81 has them, as well as AC. They defrost the side windows. There are tubes, they might be cardboard, that come from the heater box and connects to those vents. I don't know of any place that sells the vents. Somebody could 3D print them though.
Ok, thank you. Hopefully this is still on topic but I am looking for information on adding SR5 guage cluster(oil and temp) that were installed above gear shifter. Is a different heater blower delivery box needed with adding to a base model 81'?
