After removing my top and reinstalling it the window wouldn't go up.found out one of the bolts that holds the top on needs to be installed to complete the wiring operation of the window.easy fix.also my rear brakes are not working so I'll be tearing into that as well.

I did the exact same thing last year. I had all the original bolts for the top except one that was shorter, and it just so happened that I put the shorter one in the hole where that safety switch was located. I had to do some searching on here to figure out what was going on! One of these days I'm thinking of just bypassing all those safety switches!

Done the exact same thing also. I am with Ed, I would like to bypass all of those safety switches. They seem to be totally unnecessary.

I am sure the safeties work great when new but the years of wear and tear just have gotten the tolerances so far out that they are never ending battle.

Nice build! I'm from nebraska also. I live in wahoo. I made it thru 20 pages of your build so far. I'm going to be doing similar things as you. I have a locked up 3.0 that needs replace.

I need to find a $250 donor truck like you haha.

Ah that's cool. tuttle is a great time. I'm sure there will be a group of scr guys going down. When we go down there's a cabin about 7-10 miles from the park we stay at. It sleeps plenty. Last trip there was 12 or more of us that went.

It would be nice to be able to stay in a cabin rather than the back of my runner if possible. Especially in this heat.
