My bit of input for you on a couple points:
Clutch- OEM or Marlin if you want hd

Wheel back spacing- I have 7" wide, 4.25" back spaced, and used to have 8" wide, 4.5" back spaced wheels, both with 33x10.5 bfg's(at's on 7", km2's on 8"). I had very slight rubbing with only the most extreme compression(heading downhill and crossed up) with either of those setups. I have 1.5" spacers on with the 4.25" back spaced wheels now, and the rubbing is slightly worse in the same situations, but I haven't done anything remotely hardcore since installing the spacers since I'm now 2wd.

OME springs- can't go wrong in my opinion. I've got the medium coils in the rear of my runner, ridden and driven a newer runner with medium coils front and rear, ridden in an older runner with the medium leafs in the rear that I'm now planning to use for my fronts when I sas, and had the medium coils in the rear of an '87 Nissan Pathfinder. All ride perfect, in my opinion. Firm, yet compliant on bigger hits, and flex just right.

Your truck looks pretty good, a real nice start! Good luck with it and have fun!

I looked at the Marlin ones and about have my mind set on theirs.
As far as the backspacing, when I put my bj spacers on it cleared up the rubbing, so I'm gonna keep the wheels on it till I decide to get some better looking ones.

OME seems to be my best bet after reading multiple reviews, so if I end up going that route i'll definitely go with them.

Unrelated, but what is my truck worth? I dont really have any intentions to sell it, but just curious. Someone asked how much I'd take for it and I didn't even have an answer. I think I've got between $4500-$5000 in it now. But I plan to keep it so I'm alright with losing money making it mine.

Not much done lately. Got a flex fan from Toyota Boy on here abd got that installed in place of my beat up stock one. Almost 1500 miles on the rebuild and still running great.

Went to get an alignment and have to replace a tie rod sleeve and bust a lower control arm bolt loose. I got the sleeve, anyone have any ideas on how to get that bolt unfroze? Torch maybe? I haven't even fooled with it yet, he just told me he couldn't get it free.

Soak it in wd or pb or micromist. Whatever you like to use.

Bfh with good wack on head can shock it loose.

Bigger wrench with more leverage. That could easily break it as well though.

Or torch. Heat works quite well.

Few updates, I'd post pictures except I can't figure out my photobucket account name. Any chance someone smarter than me with computers can tell me what it is from one of the pictures I posted? I deleted the app to clear up phone space and didn't even think about writing it down.

Been awhile, not much done either.

Put some AWESOME buckets and center console from a t100 to get rid of the tiny stock bench.

New radio and speakers.

LCE flex fan in place.

Injectors in.

Corner lights are taped up. Waiting for it to warm up to paint bumpers and the trim on those.

Vacuum lines replaced with silicone. Breather in. Billet wire loom and oil cap, and new 22re sticker. My gutless 4 cylinder looks pretty sharp.

Cold air intake came in the mail, just gonna use the tube to the factory box and toss the cheap filter.

I came pretty damn close to trading/selling the truck. Then outta nowhere decided to keep it. And when I did that I kinda decided on a plan for it. So now I atleast have a little direction. Works picking back up and I can get to rolling again.

So 2 questions for now..

1) At 2,000 miles on the rebuild I should be safe to swap to synthetic oil right?

&

2) They swapped to IFS in 86 right? So a lift off an 88 should work for my 92?

Like I said, pictures soon.

Truck looks completely different now.
Plasti dipped the front chrome bumper, grille, corner lights, toolbox, and windshield trim. Replaced door handles with black. Same with mirrors. Whole truck got painted flat black, and I have some solid black wheels on their way from texas.

So now I'm down to..
-New bumpers, possible roll pan.
-Solid back glass To replace slider.
-Gas door lock
-Window tint
-33x10.5s

I'm sure that list will grow though. New pictures as soon as I can.

Jake, I didn't see if this has been answered, but for the cluster. IIRC, 93-94 were electronic cables. 95 went back to a cable for some odd reason...
Its looking good!
