I'll have to give that a shot tomorrow, thanks.

Well today was half as productive as I planned, but I'll take it. By that I mean I halfass lifted my truck today. Got my 13" coils in the back for the zuk mod. Went pretty smooth. We were visiting my wife's family and her grandpa has a car lift so we made quick work of it. Rented a spring compressor and hit it with the impact, which I know is kinda dumb, and had it done in an hour or so. I didn't even have to use a bottle jack like I thought. Just the compressor and me wrestlin with it worked out perfect.

My wifes dad and grandpa looked at me like I was crazy when I was explaining what I was doing, but by the time I had it done they were convinced.
I had planned on doing the ball joint spacers and a small torsion bar crank today, but honestly I just didn't feel like it. So maybe next weekend. I didn't even think to take any pictures before or during install, but here's some from afterwards. It moved it up quite a bit:

I also got my injectors in the mail today. Need to get a new gasket and hopefully get those in next weekend too.

My cluster oughta be here in the next few days too.
Just figured I'd give a little update.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I tried to add another picture but it says I have reached my quota or something like that. Anyone know what that's all about?

Thanks guys. Never get tired of hearing things like that haha. And thanks again for the injectors. Its looking like I may be off another Saturday so hopefully those will wind up in there this weekend.

My cluster came in yesterday. Fixing to go try to throw that in before I take off for errands and work. I think his name was Yamaharider on here, but whatever it was thanks a lot! I was going to do the LED swap while it was out, but I'm impatient. That'll just have to be a rainy day project.

After having the truck for 3 months I finally ordered those corner lights. Got both of them for $30 shipped. Yeah I'm that cheap that I held out for 3 months over $15 haha.

My brother owes me a little money so I think I'm gonna ask him to just buy me a radio. My buttons are literally falling off my stock one.

Any thoughts on Spartan lockers? I don't know jack bout any of em, but I'm really liking the price of those.

My new mail man is gonna hate me..

I have a Yukon grizzly in the back and it works great, takes a few to get used to in snow but otherwise not a big deal.

Do a quick search on the spartan, any locker you get is going to have the same road manners as most of them do the same thing, although I wish I would have saved up for a selectable one as I don't need it 90 percent of the time but eh maybe later

Anyhoo good times, have a good week man.

Just came in from swapping the cluster.

SR5 cluster:

Size: 64.5 KB

Before:

Size: 67.2 KB

And after:
Name: CAM00333_zpse50aaa94.jpg
Views: 65
Size: 67.2 KB

Notice those are the same picture. That's because the clusters are not the same:

Size: 118.6 KB

Probably should have checked before I bought it, but oh well no harm done and not much time wasted. Did give me a chance to get the coke that went everywhere from the crap cupholders and railroad tracks meeting each other cleaned up though.

Anyone wanna buy a GMC Canyon? I hate the thing and I'm ready to drive into a wall. Maybe then my insurance will help me out with the headaches it causes.

Nice truck! I've always wanted one like yours but I'll stick with the Runner for a long time to come haha. Looks like a lot of fun to work on when you get the time

I appreciate it bud. Yeah when I'm not busy at the sweat shop or fixing the GM POS I love it. Kinda learning as I go, but nothings went wrong so far, knock on wood. When I first got back from basic training I was young, dumb, and had a little cash in my pocket and bought an 88 pickup. Piece of junk, looked like all hell, but ran great and took all the abuse we threw at it messin around. So when I sold my f150 I decided to get one in a little better shale. Been great so far.

About the lockers..you'd be all right with a lock right/spartan, but I'd suggest checking out the Aussie lockers. Great product that I haven't seen a single bad review about. Lots of guys on here could attest to that. Truck looks great!

Actually I need the electronic one. So add one more case to the mystery of which years are which. I got it off a member on here, I think his screen name is YamahaRider.
I'll take a look at those aussies. Time to start doing homework.

The plan is to have it ready for some easier trails by April. Also have to have my brothers jeep ready by then too. Gonna take a few day trip to Wooley's down around murfreesborp. Any chance anyone's ever been down there? I went on a fourwheeler a few years ago but only got about 4-5 hours. Or does anyone know anywhere else in TN/KY?

Next big things are locker, new clutch, and winch. I know my brothers a cheapass and won't buy a decent winch, and i'll be damned if I'm getting stuck in BFE.

Charge him each time you winch his Jeep out. It's only fitting.

I was checking out LCE and I think it was called the pro kit or something like that. Seemed like a decent set up. They have a pretty solid reputation right?

not really sure on LCE never had any experience but I'm sure someone will chime in

have read numerous threads on centerforce being wonderful, but I'm sure any heavy duty clutch will be what you want. When I got mine I just got my rig and wasn't really thinking when I got it replaced and then I found out I didn't do my homework

Yeah I'm gonna have to start the research soon.

BIG UPDATE
and not in a smartass way like the 8 ball shifter

Saturday I'm picking up a front differential with 4.88s and a detroit locker, and a 4.88 ring and pinion for the rear.
Best part: $350 for all
