Got bored after dinner and got some reassembly done.

Cant wait to get off work tomorrow and get the rocker assembly on I got from mightymouse today. He brought it to me while I was working today.

He's my pal.

You have seen the dirty, gooey, chocolate milk and ground cam pics...
now enjoy the pretty ones...

Not much to report. Super busy work week. Got a bunch of stuff ordered.

Doing new hoses..belts..wires..plugs...vacuum hoses...sensors..etc..
Basically anything I can replace under the intake and while I have it all apart.

Might get some stuff done later this evening. Got to go to in-laws for dinner.
Oh boy.

Waiting on refaced oem rockers to progress. Cleaning and painting...etc.

Ditched the orange paint for valve cover and intake.

Went the murdered out look.

Got the refaced oem rockers and assembled the setup.

Just have to transfer stuff onto new head then bolt it down for keeps.
Kinda mocked up right now.

Today after work I chased the head bolt holes. Cleaned up. Bolted down head with gasket and rocker assembly. Adjusted valves. Got the header and gasket
all bolted up.

Now the sea of vaccum lines begins. The upper lower intake circus.

Chipped away at the driver side stuff tonight. Got the alternator and power steering pump on. Ground. Dipstick tube...etc. Found all the motor mount to motor bolts loose and one missing on driver side. Probably the reason oil pump bolts vibrated out. (guess)

Waiting on a few sensors, wires, plugs, fuel filter, injector o rings and grommets, pcv valve and grommet.

I'm getting anxious to fire her up and drive her.

She's running. Wish I didn't break the stupid throttle cable.

Few details to wrap up. Ill post a video of her running soon.
Running on the header...sounds like a top fuel dragster.

Picked up an oem thermostat today to be safe.
Also checked on the throttle cable. Dealer wants $100.
Waiting to see what mightymouse can come up with.

Will eventually get a new one.

Driving me crazy waiting to drive it.

Mightymouse brought me a nice throttle cable today...right to my jobsite. How awesome of him. Thanks man.

So...I installed that in record speed, mounted the hood back on and took her for a window rattling open header shakedown run. No leaks. Running great. So I headed up to my muffler guy and had him weld me a flange to reconnect to the header.

Dramatic difference. She's a tame kitten again..lol.
Running strong.

So..Im not charging for some reason. Ill recheck all grounds and wires to alt. Maybe battery. I don't know yet.

Need to adjust valves and change oil and filter. Pretty up vacuum routes etc. Otherwise running pretty tight.
