Great seeing you back. Sure your kid has grown quite a bit since last time. Saving links sure makes things easier when looking into future projects.

He needs to post more pics on the thread from his phone. But, to answer your question, no it is still disassembled. However, from what Troy describes to me, it sounds like he is close to having all the parts he needs for the reassembly. I can not wait too see Space, and Mud back on the trail.

I should be back on the trail my self soon. I am also trying to get Snowhite back into the hobby, and slow his disc-golf down.

Yes, saving links makes it much easier...if you can remember where and when you saved them! Hahaha.
Our daughter has grown quite a bit. She's actually turning 2 in a week. Fantastically exciting stage of life. So much happiness and exploration, but mercy sakes alive the drama!

As a side note, back November of last year we had a second daughter. She is...huge...to say the least. Wears the same size clothes as our 2 year old.

Tell you what, it's one crazy ride.

Not yet. We are selling our 2 hondas and my truck to get the ball rolling again. Plans have changed a bit. Got waylaid playing around with my mazdaspeed protege, but I think I might sell it. Having 2 vehicles on 1 income is just too much. We are getting by right now on my income, but I think it'd be easier with just one vehicle.

Know anyone who wants to buy a honda?

I realised the other day that I miss driving a toyota. Driving a quick little car is fun, but it's not a toyota.

Tell me about it. No pics. It's still sitting where we pulled the motor out. Only now it's covered in a thick layer of grime and spider webs and the tailgate area is covered in moss.

Congrats on getting yours going! Sorry I've been a terrible friwnd and haven't ever responded to you. The messages made it through, but life is crazy right now.

The order should be here on tuesday. I'll be digging out the motor and getting it fit with everything I can before it goes in. Gonna have to find a way to get the truck to the shop and then deflate the tires so I can get the engine in the bay. Might coat the bay in black before I stab the motor in. Also gonna get new motor mounts. And i have a billion bolts and parts to clean and paint. So don't get too excited.

Might be an issue here. Need to contact LCE.

Got some cleaning to do on this.

Yea, the radiator says it's for non turbo only. As far as I can gather, the radiators are similar enough. Should be ok to use. It IS the part number LCE lists for RTE applications.

I'll let you know when the next time I'll be working on it is, keith. As of right now, it's just gonna be cleaning and painting brackets and bolts.

Got the box of bolts and little accessories out. Thank god I used paper bags and sharpies because I don't think plastic baggies would have survived.

Tomorrow I'm gonna drag the parts washer to the shop and start cleaning. This is what's gonna take the longest.

So far, I've taken a page from the Roadkill handbook and started a list of what needs to get done. Also, Jim boys FTW!

Also picked up some gloss white paint for the engine bay and some metallic silver for the bolts/brackets.

You're back! You're back! And you're projecting!!

How's your supermodel doing these days? Helping you get the parts arranged?

I am! I am! And, I am! Hahahaha.

I, uh, well, geez. I guess it's been so long I didn't say anything? I have 2 supermodels now. This is the closest pic I currently have. From christmas.

Actually, this one is a few minutes later.

I'll try to get something better up.

More work done last night. Just cleaning and painting. It's rough and I've been coughing up black phlegm with metallic sparkles, but it's worth it. Looks fantastic.

Here's some pics of the work. Only before/during/after pics I have are from the charge pipe, but just pretend that all the parts started out looking like that.

At this point, I had to stop. It was so cold in the shop that the paint wasn't drying. This was about 3:30am.

I had to look back and you did make a tiny little mention of a huge kid, I'd missed it.
Two cute kids = more fun and 'where did that part I had go off to?' Cool. I like the pics, lots of personality in them.

Wonder if your insides look as good as the parts you painted?
