Nice Tire Carrier!!! That's about what I'm thinking about building for my truck. I don't know about your's but it would probably be removable with 4 pins.

Badass ^^^ the best 86 runner i have seen. I love how you kept it automatic and the setup you have with the locking torque converter and the optional gears is awesome

And my new wheeling buddy in training, Eva! We got her from the pound a few months ago and she's kind of had a hard life, so I'm slowly getting her used to the whole wheeling thing.

does the new protection under the rear windows bolt to the body, or is it reinforced to the roll bar in the back?

Hey just wondering how much of a PITA it is to get into the back now? does the flip down make it harder? little to heavey?
Like the design but kinda like some info on it. I hate most of the tire swing out designs out there right now so this is kind of right up my ally.

Buddy, only two words that I can come up with to describe your toy "TOTALLY SEXUAL".
You have really done an excellent job not only on your truck but throughout this thread. Thanks very much for sharing. Now the only problem is that there are so many things I want to do to my 4Runner, it kills me!

That sucks, but there's always next year. It's going to happen, I'm not taking no for an answer!

Thanks, that's a huge compliment! The back up light is a Hella Optilux 4" HID light, it's ok but the HID lights on the front of the truck seem brighter. I don't know if it's defective or the angle of the light but I need to get it on the trail one night and figure out whats going on.

Right now it's bolted to the body with large fender washers. It's going to get connected to the roll bar when I get some time, and when I figure out what I'm going to do for a cage. It's still very solid the way it is!

Thanks! That sounds like fun, but I don't know how my boss would feel about that!

It's not that bad, but it does take more work than it did before. I would say it adds another 3-4 minutes on top of before. It's a little heavy, but it's always lighter than I think it's going to be. I do find myself only dropping the tailgate when I need to, usually before a trip, once or twice on the trail (lunch, etc), and when I get home to reorganize.

Wow, well i just went from 1 AM or so, until now (2:12 AM) checking out the entire build, that's pretty amazing i might add. I was definitely disappointed with the snowboard rack and box/cargo rack removal... but the addition of the spare tire rack and lights, somewhat made up for it, but overall, this was an amazing thread to go through and see build up.
