I also noticed that my motor was moving around more than I like. My motor mounts were chained but after inspecting them I found the chain had bent and streched, it was only medium duty chain. I decided to give the Trail-gear bomp proof mounts a shot, that lasted less than a day. There was way too much vibration for my liking, some of that might be from the auto transmission but I couldn't take it.

Thanks! I hope they work better for you than they did for me, bolting the stock mounts is pretty easy if you find the TG mounts make too much vibration.

I've been very happy with the front bumper but it needed a couple things. First, the tires sometimes rubbed the edge of the bumper when fully compressed. Second, I wanted to brace the outer sections of the bumper in case I got into something really hard.
While I had the fenders off I took care of a couple other things I've had on my list.
Front bumper before

After trimming (bumper and lower fender), and bracing

I also got rid of the chrome trim around the front wheel wells, the rear will get thrown away once I trim the rear fenders.

While I had the fenders off I worked on the rocksliders. I always thought they looked a little short, so I picked up a couple spikes to add some length and complete the overall look of them.

I've been wanting to add a spare tire carrier for a while, but I didn't want to completely rebuild my rear bumper for a swing out style carrier. I have never had a spare in the past but a plug kit will only go so far in repairing a tire. Now that I'm on 35's and all my friends are on 40's, and since I drive to/from the trail (and a lot of solo wheeling) it was time to get a spare mounted up as soon as possible.
I decided to go with a fold down style carrier so I didn't have to make a new rear bumper, and I like the look of them. I also wanted to add some more body protection while I was at it. I didn't have time to take any step by step pictures in the process. I have also added a back up light, licence plate light and some upper pins but I don't have pictures of that right now. I'll try to take some pictures when I get some time, or the next time I take the truck out. Let me know if you want to see anything specific
