Step 1: Roll up windows.
Step 2: Go mudding.

Seems like you skipped a step

Yeah... About that. I didn't think about it at first. Super blonde on my part... But than I was like, OH NO, mud. -hurriedly rolls up windows- Haha.

I'll have to take some better pictures of The Melon tomorrow to really show how caked the mud is on her. haha. Because most of those pictures just don't do her justice.

And the mud is staying for a little while at least. I've gotten comments about the new paint job already. haha.

As much as our trucks look good clean, they always look a heck of a lot better covered in mud!

Here is is caked in mud.

Horrible picture of me, but I love the truck. =P

ALSO, power steering is leaking. Still gotta figure out exactly where, either a line or my box, it isn't the pump. =/

And Bill, that's the truth. I sprayed it down and tried to wash most of it, and there is no way to get all the mud off. Haha.

I had a blast mudding, and know a few spots I can head to now. yay!

Sorry, life has been crazy busy down here, haha. I got a job down in TN at a dog kennel. So I've been working, and making money to hopefully put towards the truck here soon. They also fired someone and a few people quit, so I'm getting crazy hours because we are short on people. More money for the truck! I did wash it, the same day that I took the picture of it caked in mud.

It was a huge pain in the butt to get it washed. haha. And even after two or three more washings I still have dried mud in places. Haha. I also cleaned the whole inside, and vacuumed it out. Looks like a whole new truck! Haha. I have a few more picture, but I'll wait to post those.

AND in other news, I had a power steering leak. At the rate of if I stayed anywhere for more than a few hours I had to put more fluid in or you could hear it whine, and have trouble steering. And that was a super pain to fix. Got really frustrated a few times. There were three different possibilities for the leak. So I did a few tests to see what it was. It could have been the clamps, the hose, or a metal line. I tested the clamps first and replaced them, still leaking, than I thought it might be right at the end of the hose were it looked a little worn, cut a little off still leaked. So it ended up being this metal line, and I didn't want to replace it. So I took the cute hose, moved it over the spot on the metal line it was leaking it, it felt really rough to the touch so it must have got corroded and some point. And clamped it twice there, and replaced the clamps all on that part. It fixed it, and no leaking since than. So it looks like it's going good. I was a little bruised from the experience. However it feels so nice to know I found out what the problem was on my own, and fixed it on my own. However silly/cheap the solution seems.

But yeah really busy, hopefully with the job I can get some fun doodads for the truck here soon. =]

Not sure I mentioned this either, got my brush guard painted, I need to make brackets for it though. It doesn't connect right up.

It does look pretty fantastic covered in mud, I also like a clean looking truck sometimes too. haha.

Thanks for the compliment Kitty, and it's always good to show boys that the girls can have fun with trucks too. hehe.

And thanks man, it was a pain to clean, but I got her all cleaned up. Also I refilled it, and didn't drive it when it started having problems. My mother let me borrow her Silverado to drive for awhile. haha. And I check it from time to time and just to see if all is well, and I'm not losing any fluid. Seems to be doing good.

Also, my birthday is coming up in June, I'm thinking Half doors or Clutch.. Haven't decided yet. Haha.

You could always grind the pins and just make the doors removable. I'm thinking about doing that to mine

I was thinking about that too... But I want to be able to run all the time like that. laws on doors are weird, and than mirrors and all that good stuff. Half doors seem the best solution.

You could still drill the pins out to make changing between half and full doors easier...

Yup, I'm doing the quick releases next paycheck, and a few other quick things. Haha. I'm going to Alabama for a quick trip tomorrow-Saturday, so saving my money for gas to play and such down there. haha.

And here's a few pictures.

Not that dirty, but I was playing in some.. Puddles. haha

Washed it again. But it needs another washing. =/ My tires throw stuff up all the time, gets dirty easy. haha.

Label my sister made it says The Watermelon and I have it taped up in the window. =]

My little sister bought me a stuffed animal when she went to an aquarium or something, so I figured I'd get a new co-pilot, since my dog is back in Michigan for now. =/

I do not mean to break rules with this picture, and if it's to much I can take it down or bleep it out even more.... haha. It's an offroad club back home my buddy has, and he had this made up for me. He drives a dodge, and his decal for his trucks are dodges, but he had this made up for me with a Toyota! I don't have it though, since he's in Michigan. But I think it'll go in the window behind the passenger. yay!
