Hey everyone! It's been awhile to say the least. Hope everyone is well. Update on the truck!

I was getting a bunch of clicks before starting, which more or less meant the contacts in the solenoid were shot. I finally got around it it, and sure enough, the one side was super super worn, and at the very end was probably as thin as a sheet of paper... Yeah. Well, took my a day, but I figured out how to get the starter off, it was a pain, then changed the contacts, that was really easy. Then putting back in was horrible. Couldn't get it in the right spot, and blah blah. But finally got her, and haven't had a problem since, it's been three days? I do need to replace a terminal on my battery cable though, but I bought that for like four bucks, and it shouldn't be bad.

I also want to replace my Pitman arm, noticed some play, and that seems the problem. But I have no f, and freaking idea how to do it, Need a puller, and a new pitman arm, and that's about where I am. Can't find to much info, and I would love a video on it. But oh well. I'll get her.

Also bought some belts, but those aren't in desperate need of being replaced. So it'll wait.

Hmmm. Haven't really wheeled, and haven't made much work on my pushing coolant out problem, since I haven't been going slow for long periods of time, and so haven't bothered.

I do have an oil leak, but I have to clean everything up and figure that out at some point.

Any help with the pitman arm? =]

Well if you lived close by to me I would help you with anything, that pitman would take me around an hour to change out, but I don't think you would come here. LOL. My work area in the machine shed is still empty and everything still sits untouched since my truck was totaled jan 2012 and just a week or so ago I finally went to my build thread and looked at the pictures of my build and the wreaked truck pics and it's still pretty depressing and I still miss my truck. And miss our truck chats. I hope you and the melon are doing great :}

Sorry Dee, but I'm no help on your pitman arm issue. Have you taken a look in the good ole FSM?
