I wish I could say there is an update, but sadly none. Waiting on my mom to pay me for my car. Then I'm taking a trip down to Tennessee, over 1000 miles there, and hopefully getting a few fun doodads for my truck.

Thanks for checking up on me. =]

And Mike, I agree on the centercaps. However mudflaps, I only have three, one of the reasons I removed them to begin with. So eh, I dunno. Plus I kind of like how it looks without. Which seems stupid sometimes. -shrug-

I've never cared for the giant mudflaps that came with these trucks. The first thing I did when I got mine was take them off

Well, not much has happened. Hit 109,000 today. No problems, and keeps chugging along. Got an oil change about 500 miles back, and changed my air filter. That thing was nasty...

I wish i had more to tell you guys about. =[

^^^ the filter was doing it's job nicely. Your rig will breathe a bit easier now.

Sorry, it's been awhile. Not really sure on the filter, just went and grabbed one because I knew it was a needed change.

Just drove south to my mother's in Tennessee. 760 miles of pure joy, love driving this truck. She did great too. =] I did change my tires for the trip, but brought both sets with me. Haha. So I'll probably switch down here.

I'm pretty close to rolling over to 110k, and yeah my truck is just a baby when it comes to miles.

Hopefully I can give her a good cleaning tomorrow get the salt off her.

Oh, we got eight inches of snow before I left the UP, and apparently they are expecting another eight tonight. Haha. TN had some bad storms today, but no Tornadoes right where I am (Clarksville, TN). But it's a heck of a lot warmer here than back home. =P

Ugh!

Alrighty, so I noticed these vibrations when my truck had it's hubs locked. They became noticeable above 30, and were pretty horrible and annoying at 55. so I just ignored it, today i decided to do some research. Front Drive shaft? Also, I put the truck in 4wd without my hubs locked, and the vibrations were still there. So have to deal with that shenanigans.

Just keep the hubs unlocked then. As for the second part, you shouldn't need to be driving in 4WD at that speed anyway.

That's just ignoring the problem even more. Sooo

And, yeah, but I like to keep them locked when the roads are nasty as heck. Oh well.

Well, it's been awhile. I didn't deal with the problem I mentioned before, but I've been keeping busy.

Removed the driver fender, and really cleaned it, and covered up some rust with paint, tried to the the passenger side, but I couldn't figure out the antenna. But cleaned it good, and covered up some rust. Now I'm fixing the plastic that lines the inside of my wheel wells, because I cut some of it when I took a hammer to my fenders to fit my other tires. And I'm sick of stuff getting thrown into my fenders and such. So that'll get fixed.

Been sanding the brushguard, just about done, it's starting to storm, so I'll finish it up tomorrow, and hopefully get some paint on.

Than I touched up a few spots on my truck that were randomly rusty..

As well as the back sliding window has this black trim, but the paint was peeling, so I painted that black again. yay! I may paint the silver trim around my windshield because I don't think it looks that good. But we'll see. So really just a few different things for looks.. Mostly, and some random rust proofing. There is an oil leak too... We'll see.

Hopefully once my fenders and back on and that's all sorted out I'm going to toss my big tires on, I know of two different spots to go. One is mostly mud and pretty close. The other is a park and a bit more complicated, but the neighbor has a Jeep(I know, I know), and he said we should go wheel sometime. So Hopefully next weekend, I'm all ready to go and do that. it'll be a blast!

Cheers!

That's a recent picture down at my mom's house.

This is after I removed my fender, sanded down the rust and touched up those spots with some paint.

Yeah, took them off for my trip down to my mom's. 760 miles, and those tires that are on right now are road tires. But I'm changing them back today. =]
