I ordered the radiator from Jegs, its a champion cooling 3 row all aluminum radiator for the v6. I also ordered a 3vz flex fan and blue slicone vacuum hose kit from lce performance. Im going to retorque the valve cover gaskets and pull the upper intake plenum off for painting. Im undecided on a dark blue to match the rest of the silicone hoses or a black for the intake. Im still working on the egr delete, and im going to get blue wire covers for all the engine wiring to match. Im thinking of making a custom aluminum fan shroud instead of ordering a stock plastic one, I think it would look alot better and cleaner. Im also going to eventually get ngk spark plug wires as well for the blue theme.
Radiator, flex fan, and vacuum hoses will be here tomorrow. I ordered motor mounts and trans mount and they will be here friday. I also picked up a can of blue engine paint for the plenum to match everything and some blue wire covering from the local oreilly parts store. Its to windy today, hopefully tomorrow i can get the radiator installed and all the vacuum hoses swapped as well as coolant lines. Will update as parts come in.
Flex fan with billet spacer, new motor and trans mounts, and blue hps radiator and heater hose kit. Oh and a can of dark blue engine paint. Jegs sent the wrong radiator so im waiting on the right one still. The vacuum hose kit will be here monday or tuesday. I also ordered a blue aluminum trd oil cap and some trd decals for the sides of the 4runner as well. They should be here friday. Hopefully i can get everything buttoned up in the next week or so. Will update as the rest of the parts come in.
Starting to switch out parts, vacuum lines all done, egr delete completed, most wiring is covered in blue sleeving, and i started on the radiator hoses.
I like that vac hose kit! I should look into that for mine. Out of curiosity, why did you delete the EGR?
I did the egr delete to simplify the motor. It keeps the intake plenum cleaner by preventing exhaust gases from entering. It will not pass a visual emission inspection.
That radiator looks like it's gonna be cool. (Pun intended)
A bit too tall though? Are you going to shroud it?
Just a hair too tall, probably a 1/4 inch or less. I am thinking of making one out of aluminum. I also found diy aluminum shroud kits from summit racing that come in numerous sizes.
Im still trying to switch out the heater hoses behind the engine that go from the block to the heater core and back. I also am trying to find caps for the egr provisions on my dt headers, 3/4 is too big. Worst case i will have to weld the old egr nuts closed.

That 'home-made' lift you put on, what did you use? Did that aggravate your fan shroud issue? What exactly was your home-made lift?
In a continuing effort to prevent progress on my project, I was thinking about that too because I need to get the mud off my frame that stuck between it and the body. And maybe rust coat or something.
Did those 35's clear ok with just that lift? Or did you do some clearance hammerin' ? The Cooper's arent' the 35s, right?

i had a 3 inch ford body lift that i got for free, and i cut down the blocks to 1 1/4 Inch, i used bolts from the hardware store, grade 8. Cost me a total of about 25$. I am not running a fan shroud so no problem there for now
i haven't had a chance to find some 16 inch rims that will work as of yet, so the 35s are going to have to wait. I am ordering a blazeland diy weld up kit tomorrow as well.

My buddy welded my diy blazeland upper arm extensions today, and idler arm brace
also set the 35s next to the truck to see what it will look like once i find rims
