thanks RE RE, I hope it works out ok, if not I have another housing to start on fresh that is strait. I made some more progress today, I drilled and threaded 4 holes for the Elocker mount and I cleaned up my welds then painted with a rust converter and then some VHT roll bar and Chassis paint that was recommended by SPC Mike. here are a few pics.

Here is my TG arms I got from Dbcfr. thanks.

ARP knuckle studs for the new steering arms.

Got the housing painted, still wet so it looks really shiney, it is a satin so it should dry a little duller.

My 529 gear set for the ELocker

here is the spot where I fixed the bent housing. really hope it holds up. thats it for today. next I will install the 529 gears in the elocker then i can start to put the axle together.

I talked with Dbcfr and he just did his by hand with the drill so thats what I did, they came out pretty strait, only one is off a little, I got the ARP studs and Hardware from TG as well as the gears. so when you get the press I can come over and set it up. I went up to coarsegold yesterday to get the high steer arms. catch ya later.

Crazy Chef!!! I did a little bit more the last few days, been busy with work and kid stuff that i dont have much time to wrench, I took apart my knuckles and took them over to spcmikes place and did some soda blasting, what a mess I then painted them today, now I need to mount the knuckles and align them on the axle. heres a few pics cause it did happen!!

those Hubs are IFS hubs that I am using with tacoma rotors. still need to do my diff, just waiting on spcmike to buy a press so i can do it

Hello Cougar...Just found your thread. What a great build. Took me a while to read through it. You have come along ways. I like all of the pictures you have put up and alot of the information. I have an 88 that is identical to yours only not as nice. I can see the potential in mine. You have alot of great ideas. Definitely subscribing. Keep up the great work.

made some more progress today, I was able to rent the alignment tool from a guy i met working, hes got a nice first gen truck on 37,s. so I installed my ARP studs in the knuckles and started on the alignment.

My Supervisor..shes strict!!

inspecting the work.

Got both knuckles on, i was trying to get my rock rings on and the rear seal but the bolts seem too long. will have to check with TG on that. Next I need to get my diff regeared, I also got a 5 pattent Marlin diff flange.
