Unfortunately where I live about the only rocks we have are in driveways lol. I try to flex it out when I can tho.

Thanks. I wish I had a tubing bender too lol. That's some 1.25" pipe bent with a harbor freight pipe kinker.

 

I just spent 2 hours reading this whole thread. Great documentation.

I'm always impressed when people figure out so many problems on the fly. I'm OCD so every issue you tackled looks/sounds like a few weeks of researching, measuring, researching, drawing something up, researching, sleeping on it, forget about it for a while, remember, research....
The fact that you had so many things happening at the same time (and hadn't done some of them before) is mind boggling to me.

Thanks for taking the time to read my thread. I hope it helps you in some kind of way. I have the same issues as you mentioned. I spent a LOT of time researching what I did before I ever started. I researched every little detail more times that I'll even admit to myself. I guess that's the engineer coming out in me. I have the OCD tendencies, although with enough beer they relax some lmfao. Tackling the SAS, rear leaf swap and 4.3 swap at the same time turned out to be a lot more work than I planned especially considering I haven't done any of it before.

You're doing an awesome job, your bends look really good. I thought about getting a harbor freight kinker, from what I hear they do alright if you keep the bends under 90°. I picked up a bender for $40 about 12 yrs ago, and still haven't used it. It didnt come with any instructions, and later I found out that it was more for flat bar, although I believe it will bend up to 1" square tubing. One of these days Im going to try to use it to build a roof rack.

All that's left to due is cap the ends, add the receiver tubing under the winch mount (like the TG mount), and paint it.

And it's done for now. I'll install it later this week when I get back from a work trip. I'm going to order some 3/4" LEDs to run in my parking lights as turn signals.

Thanks. I just put the winch on yesterday. Only "testing" it has done was pulling the 4runner to put the rope on lol.

 

That turned out awesome man. I have the same winch and it has performed awesome for me. So far I have pulled out a Kia, a Ford Ranger, a Grand Cherokee, a Fedex truck, and even an 18 wheeler stuck in the mud. Its hell on my battery but it gets the job done.
