Excellent! It's shifting good and no noticable lags/slow shifts? Keep an eye on your fluid level/color for a bit.

Haha, seems we both are a bit OCD on things like this. I can totally relate.
So, what is the next project?

get a job... lol. then see what happens... lol. my teacher says he has a bunch of stuff from his offroading days that i can have, he's planning on spring cleaning his garage out. so whatever goodies he turns up should be fun, says he has 1 KC light in box, and some tow hooks... and whatever he might else find.

forgot to put in earlier on my "previously fixed" list, I did the brakes on it about a week after i finished the head project, new front pads (not enough rotor left to safely machine them, but no scoring and they only had the slightest amount of runout) had leaking wheel cylinders down back so swapped for some shiny new ones, surprised my teacher that they where cast iron and not aluminum. he took them to be props for the next brakes class. thinking of donating all my damaged parts to my school for education purposes, helping educate one burnt valve and leaky cylinder at a time!

You have an auto shop class?? Lucky! I never had that :/

Nice to hear the fluid changes were successful. Whenever I do them I get so paranoid!

"Is the level ok?!"
"Was that leak there before?!"
"Are you sure thats the right fluid!?"

stuff like that lol

in Monterey (where i grew up) there's a lot of car and bike shows (hot august nights, moto gp, etc), and many races because of Mazda Laguna seca raceway. so there's a lot of support for the automotive program at my old high school. the program has been active and growing for like 50 some odd years. my teacher there is friends with Mr.Edelbrock, Gene Winfeild (close friend of my mom as well actually). and some other big name guys. all his classes get the opportunity to work the races (never paid to see any of the races at laguna seca ). but now in college, I go to a trade school. Wyotech, is an automotive/motorcycle/HVAC/electrical/plumbing technical school. the have 6 or so campuses around the US. its a pretty good school, i'm currently in my 3rd phase (6 week courses that focus on the different parts of vehicles) out of 10 core phases total. after that I have the choice to take more phases like advanced diagnostics, hybrids, and/or diesels.

Urinary track infection eh? hahaha KIDDING i got a couple homies at UTI its a nice place, but my dads friends with the director at wyo, we go on hunting together. and I like the feel of the campus better. best part was when i first got my class uniform i went to go show off at my high school and bring my old teacher a wyotech hat (they gave me 2) the UTI recruiter was giving their presentation when i walked in

UTI and Wyo are both good schools. I considered UTI but having family friends at Wyo made it a pretty quick decision haha.
