Well I did some wheeling today. I didn't get a lot of pictures of my truck but I got a lot of the group. We were celebrating the 1 year anniversary of our group called Michiana 4x4 Toyotas. FYI: Michiana is a combination of Michigan and Indiana and is a common name for the area we live in.

We found a burned out Chevy Blazer, in a pit. It was obviously stuck but we aren't sure how it caught on fire. There was about 20 pounds of sand in the trunk of the blazer, Im guessing they were trying to put it out. Well we made good use of a piece of scrap metal...

Anywho, on to the pics:

Looks like you guys had a fun trip! I like how you guys made proper use of the chevy blazer, lol! I think that's the first pics I've seen of your truck after bobbing the bed, I like how it turned out!

thanks a lot. the bed bob was a need not a want in my case. if I didn't do it, I would have lost the bed to rust this winter. the truck lost a little storage space, but gained a lot of off road capabilities.

That black land cruiser is bad a$$. 3x locked with 6 inch lift and 33 in tires. and all leather interior, he drives it to work everyday in comfort. He really pushed it in some trails. He is definitely not afraid to push and test its limits. Someday my cruiser will grow to be that much of a bad a$$

and by 3x locked I mean, a locker in the front and rear axles and a center diff lock in transfer case. My cruiser has a center diff lock from the factory, just have to add in the other 2. Like I said, someday......

My neighbor has a 96 lexus version of the cruiser. Hes a asian guy that isnt very mechanically inclined.Ive worked on it a few times and it also has front and rear diff lock.Dunno about the center lock. Its loaded as far as options and i think it has the straight six. The landcruisers are flagships of toyotas suv in my opinion. Anyone that bought one new is finacially well off.

That's why I bought my Land Cruiser 22 years old. lol. The black, white and my cruiser all have straight 6 motors. not the fastest but plenty of torque.

I'm not very jealous, I'm extremely jealous. If you paid less than $100 for those, I'm gonna flip out

Well my current exhaust system is a 40 dollar turbo muffler with no cat. It needs to be replaced, maybe a nice flow master muffler is in the future.... I'm not sure how I fall into these deals but I love it when they happen!!!

Im really debating about getting my heads mildly ported n polished while I am fixing the valve seal and checking valve lash over Christmas. A buddy who works at a machine shop said he would do it for me for cheap... tempting. My other thought is to get a wideband o2 sensor so I can monitor or "tune" my engine a little smarter, instead of just guessing on what sounds right. My issue is, do they make a wideband o2 that has the 2 bolts for mounting in the stock Toyota way or would I have to get a screw in bung welded in? Anybody got a clue?
