I mean what headers did you use or what kind of exhaust system did you use if it was changed at all? As in the components after the cat. Converter and the type of header. I'd like to do something pretty similar. I'd like something as throaty as yours or if possible deeper. I'm tempted to add a 10x series muffler to it by flow master.

I have a used set of NWOR headers and crossover pipe. The exhaust is completed with 2 1/2 inch pipe and a Thursh welded muffler. I have no cat.

What does nwor stand for (dumb question I know) I should probably know. Not to get off topic, but that sounds similar to the exhaust for my bicycle I built with a motor. If you look at my profile picture, you'll see a green bike with a motor in it. I can wake up my neighbors when I ride past their house in the head of a holler. It is really loud. I have been pulled over three times for it. I'm legal though. At least in wv. I can cruise around 35, and that's fast for a schwinn stingray occ chopper bicycle. (Rip) wrecked and totaled it.

NWOR = North West Off Road. The headers and crossover brand new cost 660 dollars. I paid 60 for them.

$600 in saving is bad ass. Not including tax and shipping.

I wish I could find smoking deals like that. I'll buy the headers and crossover from you for $61.

I hit the junk yard today and did some impromptu wheeling..... a good day. I was looking for dash parts but struck out. I have an oil leak that will need attention very soon and my front bumper is getting really bad. Time to start planning....

Changed the valve cover gaskets on my truck this weekend. Wasn't too bad but it is time consuming. Hopefully no more oil puddles in the driveway.....

I hope everyone has been doing well. I have been crazy busy at work. I have been traveling a ton. The truck is doing well and is running great.

I also had a surprise expense at my house. I had to fork over $6,100 for a new septic system, since mine was almost failing. So that was a fun way to dump $6100 down the toilet, literally. Well the new septic is working well and it should last forever ( it damn well better last that long) But it has delayed a few plans on the truck. I need to build new bumpers and sliders.

I am sorta struggling with what to do next to the truck. I am not sure which direction to go. More off road exploration type or keep it DD/WW. Thoughts??

Glad to see you back, its been awhile! That sucks about your septic system, thats a lot to have to pay out all at once! What kind of bumpers, sliders do you have planned? Are you going round tube or square? Have you considered doing a sas or long travel ifs?

I would like to do a plate bumper in the front and square sliders. I am undecided about building a roof/ head ache rack and light bar for the bed of the truck.

As far as long travel or SAS I am not sure if I do enough off road exploration to warrant those upgrades. Also I would need to buy a second vehicle as a daily driver to get back and forth to work while the surgery on the truck happens.

So now you see why I am stuck.....

Any one have cool plate bumper ideas?

I kinda like this idea....

it seems simple enough to build ( I know it wont be) but I don't want to be too complex. any thoughts???

I really like that second bumper on the LC! The first one looks a little ragtag, though.

Thanks for your vote. I have an idea for a bumper, and it is a cross between these two ideas.... hard to find the right picture

Just build it and show us already! Haha.

I like the first one, but the bottom braces need to be cleaned up.
