I had a bunch of guys over from my club last night. We had a bonfire and cooked hot dogs etc. I set up a projector and sound system and watched movies outside. Once my kids went to bed we stayed up til 2:30 am watching Top Gear on the projector. It was a fun time just chilling out and relaxing with a great group of guys.

$40 is a good deal! The handle can be moved to either the side or the now top.. wherever really. You can even just have it on a pull stirng. Take the inter panel of the door off, then youll be able to see how they work.

Cut how low they work for you. You want to be able to lean out, while still protecting your self.

Some half door photos --> https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f88/...-doors-256515/

Im thinking of sitting in the truck and measuring from the window sill to the top of my thigh and make the cut at that point. It should offer enough protection and be low enough to lean out. Thoughts?

Thanks for the link. Sweet pictures!!

Well my plan was to have a casual day and get some work done on the door. and occasionally watch some football. 5 minutes after lunch and during the first qtr of the first game of the day I got a phone call. From the police. Someone had broke into a relatives house and they needed to get a hold of them. So I got to spend the rest of the day at the police station and repairing windows and doors as well as installing a security system. It was not what I wanted to be doing today.

On a good note. A neighbor called the police about the burglary and the police caught the guy still in the house. So it will be an open and shut case. Everything has been "repaired" and no one was hurt. So things could have been worse. But it definitely not fun

Well its been a long month of work. crazy hours and travel at work. Combined with trying to get some fall clean up and winter prep done on the house and all of that means that not much has got done on the truck. I did pick up a small tool box last weekend and installed it this weekend. I think it looks better than my old cut down box.

Hopefully things will slow down a little at work and I can get some work done during the week instead of just Saturday or Sunday
