Lol. I love it when I put ideas in other people's head. Can you mix the case of paint or does it have to be all one color? I was thinking 8 cans of khaki and 4 of black for the trim. And thanks for the shipping info. How long did it take to get the paint after you ordered it?

I'm not sure about mixing cases, I didnt try. It came crazy fast... about 4 business days. I was expecting another package and it showed up at the office before the other which I had ordered 2-3 days before. I thought the shipping was kind of steep but I guess you factor in "hazardous" material charges and such I guess its not bad.

caution. Go thin. Stuff covers like Puddin' if you put it on too thick.

Thanks for the heads up. I was going to do 2 coats, and hopefully have some left over for touch ups.

I dunno, if you want all the door interiors and window frames and such to match it will be a bugger bear. I went out and looked. Especially with mine being a 4runner...4 doors, rear hatch...UGH. Changing color would be a PAIN.

I have a pet body shop that should do it cheaply for me as I refer them business so I may just go back to the maroon red it was to save time and effort. But that carc tan would be BA.

If it were that Whore red some were I'd do it for sure, but that dark red does not bother me so much.

When I painted my 87 I didn't do the inside of the door frames. Only the outside. It looked great, until you opened the door. It was the OD green contrasted by the faded royal blue from the factory. Awful. So this time I will do the inside door jams and everything else that I can. A little more work, but worth it in the end.

So today I discovered something interesting. With the 33 in tires, my speedometer reads CORRECTLY! Before with the 265s I noticed that when compared to a GPS unit the speedometer would read about 2or 3 mph faster than I was traveling. Now with 33s it reads correctly. Anyone care to give a thought on how or why this is? Because I'm stumped
