Back from the Dead - Rolled 1989 Pickup Rebuild
#82
I used a Subaru hood scoop. I am not sure if I really like it now that it is in, but what do you do its there now so too late. I guess there is always another hood out there. Let me know what you think.

Update
Well, it has been a while since I updated. I still love the 3.4 swap after a year. A few things have happened, nothing engine related. The 5.29 gears in the rear end blew up. I have a feeling this was a per-existing issue, however got worse over time. During the tare down I round the rear wheel bearings were long past done. I found a E-locker rear end out of a 02 Tacoma, and for a quick fix to get back on the road instead of modifying the IFS width rear axle for the e-locker, I just swapped in the 02 rear axle. I had to cut off all the e-brake cable mounts, and swap them to the other side, as well as re-work the brake lines for a passenger side drop, as well as extend the e-brake cable on the pass side with a few pieces of flat bar.
