hate to say it, but you may be waiting for those parts from wab-fab for a while. sure, he seems nice and helpful here, but many other people have had major issues ordering from him online. just a heads-up

Ive had lots of good luck and lots of BAD luck with craigslist deals. Kind of Hit of miss. Now I try to stick to doing deals with fellow forum members. Seems to always turn out better. and you get to make friends along the way.

Got an email from him last Thursday saying it was shipped. Just waiting on UPS What I want to know is why it took a little under two weeks to process the order. Maybe he just lets all the orders stack up and then processes and ships them all at once, which is fine. I know he's usually busy with shop work.

If you want to see a bad Craigslist deal, go to page one of this thread and look at my shredded tire

I got my Aisin Hubs from Resto-Noob on here. Couldn't be happier!

Parts arrived yesterday! Who doesn't love new parts?

I'm still waiting on a T-shirt. I'm assuming that the setup kit came straight from Trail-Gear and the shirt is coming straight from WabFab.

Nah, it's a WabFab shirt. The one that says "Jeeps are cute, Barbie drives one" on the front and their logo on the back. Total impulse buy, which is something I rarely do

I shipped the 4.56s back to Ron's Machining Service yesterday. I'm watching a set of brand new 4.88s on eBay now, that I'm fairly certain I'll win.

EDIT: I won the 4.88s!

The uppers were $37.79 (Part # K9482)
The lowers were $35.89 (Part # K9519)

With shipping, it came out to a little over $160.

I checked out Napa and they quoted me $72 and change for their premium ones.

In other news, I had to get the valve stem in my front left tire fixed yesterday. If I wouldn't have heard the hissing coming from it when I went to get in the truck to go get the mail yesterday (3/8 of a mile from my house to my mailbox, too lazy to walk), the results could have been catastrophic. I could have came out this morning to a flat tire or it could have completely broken while I was driving causing me to lose control, crash, and die. Needless to say, it was something I couldn't ignore and it was $8 well spent.

Ummm...what?
they're not necessary (stock trucks come with 'em), but the crush-type can crush even further or get bent. and yeah, if you open it up to swap gears again, you can re-use it. just remember to keep all your shims
