91 pickup build
I just bought my first toyota pickup. It is a 2.4L single cab. I drove about 2 hours to go pick it up and I'm sure glad I did.

Nice work!!! I like its stance. gonna look mean with some different tires!!! But the ones you have on there now should get good mpg. I like the blackouts on the lights as well. Only a matter of time before its sitting higher and looking more like Marks!!!!YAY!!!

Ill help you out with an update here.
Decided he wanted to change out the rear main, new clutch, and a new to him transmission that we got from 283yotacrawler.
Upon dropping the tranny and front diff to access the oil pan removal, we found bits and pieces of the timing guide in the pan. So I suggested that while we are this far, we just pull the engine.
Now we are going to tear it down and do the timing kit, oil pump, water pump, head gasket, head bolts and any other odds and ends that it will need.
Painting the front diff.

Dropping the transmission to replace my rear main seal.[/IMG]
Found a part of my timing chain guide shredded up and sitting in my oil pan. Luckily we fought it before the chain rubbed a hole in the timing cover.
Decided I am this far into it, might as well pull the engine out and see what I'm working with beings I just got the truck, who knows what has/has not been done to it in the past!
And she's heartless
Got the engine on a stand and started tearing it down to access the timing cover
Getting the block all cleaned up for the new head gasket. Also going to tap out the threads for my new bolts.
And a table with all of my stuff in order and in labeled baggies.
More to come soon!
