I think it's just 13 x 4" tires on a 15 x 7" wheel.

there he is!

yup....and alot slower than I thought we would be at this point. thought it was going to go real fast once we got the motor in but these details and delays are killing us.

have to take the timing belt cover off again.....means to have to take the upper idler / water inlet back off too(just the water connection)....this, because I have no real way to find TDC again (unless someone has a clue) in order to poke the distributor back in. so that adds probably 30 mins or so...but given that we only allowed about an hour every few days, it means alot.

i have a deadline in mind....not gonna say it...but it's a goal now that I think we can easily beat.

work again tomorrow.

Its the details that slow you down, but going back just recently, you have made big steps closer to getting it running.

Just a helpful reminder, when you start that up don't be surprised to see some smoke from the engine bay from the paint/headers etc etc and also from the exhaust due to residual cleaning agents in the cyl's.

don't worry. you will be there.

progress...sorta.

passenger's side header is on. what an absolute PITA! bless ya if you are trying to do this with the power steering or a/c in place.

having a G-D SOB moments here....

instructions...not that good I'll admit, say to lay out the reed configuration as follows... REED-->original compression nut (pipe wiggles when tightened...that's a concern)-->crush nut(big silver nut)-->crush sleeve and install..........makes no mention of a little dark gray fitting that came out when i took the nut off the header (same as with the forward hole for the EGR)....when i try to tighten the nut i can't get a bite....without the little gray sleeve, good bite. diameter of this sleeve does not allow it to drop in the hole, tried "encouraging" it in, no dice.

so here we are.....another GRRRRRRRRRR moment stoppage.

WRENCHINJOE or MAK92 ......HELP!!!!!!! or anyone please

the layout

I'll offer moral support.

This is why I point at my engine and ask Jon "please fix that".
