Bad ass. I actually just looked at your website, looks like some great parts for the swap! And I was thinking about doing this in a first gen. Do you think it can be done without a body lift?
Edit: Well thinking about it, the oil pan with ifs would be a problem but I think with a solid axle it could be done sans body lift.

Thanks,
I am actually working with a rep for ARB right now. We are working with them to get a 1uz into a 1981 4x4 truck. I believe it can be done without a body lift. It will be tight and adjustments and compromises will need to be made.
IFS is a big issue with the needing of a body lift as the steering relay rod is just in the way with the LS version. The front diff is in the way for the SC version. The second reason is to help with air flow and getting the heat generated from the engine down the tranny tunnel and out. I think this can be compensated for with a good cooling system. The steering can be worked around easily with a SAS or OEM solid axle truck.
Hope this helps!

Machined Flywheels!! Nice!
Just curious where you are going to get your CO2 tanks filled?
I dropped mine off at a local fire extinguisher shop that I had gone to before. it had been $25 in the past. I didn't even think to ask, picked it up and it was $42..it would have been $52 if it had needed the hydrostat test.
At that price i might has well invest in a Viair or other comparable compressor

Here was a pic taken this weekend before our outing!!! It was a great fathers day ride.

I still have to install the ARB awning and the fridge slide tray.
I also wanted to let everyone know that I am a dealer for 4wheelunderground now, so if anybody is looking at getting this 3 link kit, please feel free to contact us!!!

Here are 2 new additions to my collection.
The White one is a 1990 LN106 SR5 model. It has a factory solid axle and the 2.8 3L factory Toyota diesel engine in it. It also has 2" spring lift, front locker, factory limited slip rear diff. 4.30 stock gears, ARB bumpers and other extra's.
The Red one is a 1991 LN106 DX model with a factory solid axle and the 2.8 liter 3L Toyota diesel in it. It has a factory limited slip with 4.30 gears, and TJM aluminum front bull bar.
Not sure what I am going to do with 2 of them. Thinking I will keep one and sell the other as soon as I get to the states with them.
I hope you enjoy the pictures
