yes it is.

Yeah this is about 2 minutes from the place we bought. You will have to come up so we can go wheeling. It would be cool if we could put together a group to go out and just do some back woods exploring. I haven't had much time to really get out and do any major exploring yet.

Was having a little issue with the Zrunner the last few weeks. It was revving stupid high on a cold start and was having a miss under wide open throttle. I was chasing my tail to try and figure out what the issue was. I even replaced the ECU thinking I was having an ECU that was causing the issue. Then last weekend I was headed out of town and up a descent grade on the highway. The rig wasn't liking the hill in 5th as I had to down shift. I was even smelling an unburned over fueling problem.

Well I finally got to the TPS and replaced it with a new Toyota TPS.... oh what a difference. Cold start idle is back to 1100 rpm for about 60 to 90 seconds then idles smoothly down to 750 rpm and is rock solid. Over fuel smell gone and she is back to running the hills in 5th again and won't stop pulling.... Crazy as this is what I was used to getting when I first did the swap. MPG's are much better again... So happy when you finally find a problem that's been keeping me up at night and causing me to stress over what the issue is... I hate it when things aren't perfect!

Finished building my roof rack this morning. I wanted a custom unit since I couldn't find anything that was built to the size and specs I wanted. It will allow me to install a 32" LED light bar in the front between the bars and fits nicely above the top without hanging over to get hung up but not so small as to be useless as I found with most other manufactures.

The mounts are built up on top of the tubes so the rack dosent sit another 1" or more above as others designs either. All around I am pretty happy with it. Just need to be installed on the Zrunner and then put my hi lift and shovels, ect....

glad to hear you got the TPS issue figured out, its probably a big relief having it running like a top again! I like the roof rack, it turned out sweet! Can't wait to see pics of it mounted! I'd like to build one someday. What size and type of tubing did you use on yours?

Thanks rustED,

I am very happy indeed. It drives me nuts when things don't work like they are supposed too. I am a little ocd about having stuff work correctly.

I will post some pics once its all put together and on the Zrunner.

So here the rack is installed on top of the runner. I still need to get all the gear mounted to it, but the rack is present and accounted for now.

Thanks,

3/4" tube .85 wall. So it's pretty light and strong. I used spray on truck bed liner to coat it.

Thanks bud. So how come you sold your light bar? I have always ran hella or KC stuff. Hope I don't make a mistake going with LED this time.

I look forward to a wheeling trip as well.

They put out a ton of light. The 44" i had mounted up on the roof whistled a bit much for me at 45-55'ish. The glare on the hood was kind of annoying to me. I ran into that in my Baja bug days. Some people don't mind it. I also had a curved 32" down on the bumper. A friend at work asked about them and i kind of decided to sell them on the spur of the moment. He paid me what i had into them. I have gone through a few versions of lighting on the truck.
i even have Truck Lite LED headlights so i am a firm believer in LED lights. I think the pair of headlights only draw 5 amps

i think the clip on covers are a good idea. The lower bar blended in nicely

tires are Goodyear Kevlar MTR's 35x12.50's which i am not sure if i would recommend or not. Great traction but took a little while to balance, i ended up using about 10oz of airsoft beads.
i had some wobble issues periodically that i thought were tires but could have been my steering box. Replaced the box and did the airsoft beads at around the same time. Seems to have gone away.
