well, this thing floats out on the dunes... my buddy got a few pics apparently, so i'll get those up once he sends them to me.

steering box is braced up (for now) and got one side of the front-end rebuilt with the Marlin HD seals and new knuckle studs. other side should be done in the next couple of days.

saturday night i'm entering the somewhat local mud bog competition at the monster truck show, so i'll try and report back with pics from that. should be fun to go up against all the rednecks in K5s.

Mike, glad to see that it still does good in the dunes! Are the mudbogs at the SM fairgrounds? I had friends who did that last year, they had fun except that there were no "classes" so stockers were up against fully built mudboggers etc... Make sure you have someone video it!

yeah chris, it was the one down in SM. i ended up going heads up with a mud-built fullsize chevy on boggers, so of course i got owned. when he was behind me in line i couldn't even hear my 3.0 over his motor... pretty sure i was the only rig without a V8 that competed, now that i think about it. i did make it all the way through though (redlined in 2nd, low range ), and i was in the deeper pit. waiting on pics and video, i know a few people took some. i'll post them as soon as they pop up.

glad i was able to help you with your swap. as for the e-brake, mine isn't hooked up at the moment. it's too short, just like yours is. i'm going to look into an extended cab pickup setup, but i haven't quite started on that yet... once i do i'll report back.

a couple videos my buddy took from the monster truck/mud bog/tuff trucks event...

Part 1 - Tuff Trucks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZcQtYE_8_HI

Part 2 - Mud Bog and Monster Trucks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifatwG6v8XQ

sorry they're a little blurry...

as for an update, i put in Marlin HD front axle seals which have stopped the leaks altogether. also replaced my steering studs with the new torx head ones. other than that, the ol' girl hasn't changed. i'll be taking it down to the Jambo this year, so that should be my next update...

Tin Benders Jamboree was awesome. had one of the best weekends of my life, without a doubt. ended up running Sledge again, and walking Hwy 20. broke a birf, destroyed my rear d-shaft even more, and got some pretty good body damage... overall the Party Wagon did pretty well. there were plenty of cameras going off, so pictures are a-plenty from this trip. also look for some video in the upcoming All My Dirty Friends 3 and Necessary Roughness 3 DVDs.

here's about half of the pictures various friends took, will post the rest later... in no particular order:

Mike, don't trash your rig 'till you've to chop it! I really love full bodied SASed 4Runners like mine, they're too much nice to chop!
