U need a non add seal. The add diffs use the red sealer u can see on the housing to seal the adapter to it and then an o-ring on the tube. To let gear oil the to the sleeve where the non add diffs the hear oil never goes into the tube.

ok i got my fans in and all set up the fans keep it running at 203f at idle according to my solus. let it fun for about 30 minutes and took it for a 3 mile road test. drove it pretty hard to. runs like a dream. from what i can read with my temp gun the fans turn on at 203 and shut off at 180ish. the engine is reading 203 but the the temp sensor is on the front water pipe and i put the temp switch on the t-stat housing. the radiator cor sits at bout 170 and the top tank sits around 180. im gonna take it to lunch tomorrow in traffic and if it dose well the only thing next is pulling mountain passes.

i drilled the hole and tapped it. put it in with some thread sealer and a crush seal. then ran the wire for it across the top and under the right spark plug valley cover and over to the right finder where i put the fan controller.

i used a relay box that has 2 fuse slots in it that i cut off the 95 22re dash harness i have. ran the power to the main fuse and grounded it to the finder. ill try to get some new pictures up tomorrow my phone died.

It's actually a fan switch for my subaru. Was gonna use a Toyota one or a Lexus one but they cost so much I got this one from subaru fer like 25 bucks. The only thing is I had to drill a hole to put it in. Thread is a 16x1.50. I would have liked to use a smaller one that would have went into maybe one of the water drains in the side of the block but ended up with this. Seems to work pretty good. I was a little worried it would run to hot as it runs the fans all the time In my subie but the hatch just has a very poor cooling system. it was running at 3/4 the other night. And a video will come soon. I want it all put back together before I make a video. Would nate to brake something an look like a doober. Saterday my friend is coming out to look at it to make sure the tranny sim mad the right resistors on it an they won't blow. Just need to go get a steering stabilizer and my front drive shaft.

Indeed. It is quite an intoxicating noise. I love mine!

Here is a crap video I took with my phone of a 2-3 up-shift. Forgive the terrible quality since the phone didn't orient properly.

Loving the progress Shaggy!

It won't let me watch it. I drove it again today I see what u mean dunkin hell with gas mileage foot on the floor at every light I love the sound of it. An what makes it worse is at idle it still sounds like a 3.0 with a tiny more grunt so unless I open the throttle ill never know.

here is some more pics of my fans and the controler.

here is what i am gonna do with my rear o2 sensors to keep a P0420 from popping up. this a sensor on my cousins wrx i put turbo back exhaust on. how it works is you get a spark plut anti fouler then use a 1/2 inch drill bit and drill it through. it takes the sensor out of the exhaust stream. so i hear. my friend i worked with at subaru says it works.

also i friend came by the shop today and took some readings for the tranny sim. he is ordering the parts today for it. he said he is gonna use 10watt resistors i cant remember what ohm they are but we tried a few and found they have to be good sized as the #1 shift solenoid or shift solenoid A i do believe it is. but it is hot when ever the car is on an puts some heat off. but the way we hooked it up i should have no codes and im gonna mount the box to the left finder. on a side note i took her for a drive today to napa and when i left out of the parking lot with my foot on the floor and burning the tires hahaha i got the most confused look from some gut pumping gas at 7/11. so funny. but thats all i got for now. ill see abiout getting a video up next week for you all.

sorry guys i cant get the video to post so here is the link

ok so here is what i got tonight. i wanted to spin some cookies but i couldnt get it down or find a parking lot that i didnt think a cop would find me in. already got a speeding ticket last week so i dont want to get in any more trouble right now.
filled her up for the first time and i must say i miss filling up my hatch.

still waiting on my friend for the tranny sim. i just couldnt help my self so i put the dash all back in and ill tare it back out to put it in. and after i driver her for a while to make sure all is how it should be and then i will post up on what i did with the wiring. and maybe i can get a wiring diagram made up for it.
and do any of you guys have very low oil pressure at idle when its hot. i know the 3.0 did but i would think the lexus would have a bit higher oil pressure.
ill see what i can do about some more videos for you guys.
