RMA thanks on the oil pressure bit how about the heat coming through the floor boards. Wu feet were getting pretty hot. Gonna have to lay down some of my sound proofer/insulation.
The fans are made by maradyne. Got the from ontrack motor sports whether were 75 a pop. They are 10 inchers what pull or push u just flip the blade around. They move 900 cfm and only draw like just under 10A. I used 15A fuses as I wired the coils on the relays off the same power as the fans. An the are only 2.5 inch tall.

Thanks chef. I just couldn't get it to work. An I think I did it the same way I did my last vid.

I had to order a new throttle cable. I was up showing it off to my friend who is making my tranny sim and I was showing how fast it accelerates and had my foot on the floor about to shift into second and the cable popped off the pedal. One of the locking tabs is broke off and I thought it wouldn't give me any trouble.

Hey Shaggy, ..... no prob. I was just thinking, you'd probably like to post it yourself, and I could just delete that post if ya want

Just go to your Video, via your link, copy the link in the main search tab on top, then click on the 'Insert Image' icon on top here, in this text box, ...the one with the lil mountains in it, lol... and then paste the link in there, click enter, then "post quick reply", and voila, you're good to go, bud!

Either way, GREAT NEWS, it's sounding like a RECENTLY UN-CAGED BEAST! LOL.

Yeah that's what I did. But it wouldn't let me. I'm thinkin its my computer. It has been giving me trouble lately. Maybe when he is done with the tranny sim ill give him my computer to go through.
Yeah she is a beast. It's nice when ur cruising at 60 in 5th and give it a little gas an it actually accelerates on the highway. Up will even.

well she has about 300 mles on her so far. i took her up the mountian yesterday. went to idaho springs. climed i70 like a dream. only had to drop to 4th like twice. she did 70 the hole way. took the solus with me. she never went above 198f all the way up and she was under a tad bit of a load. sure is a change from my 88 auto i had where i was lucky to hold 45 and getting passed by big rigs.
as for gas milage right now the first tank i burnd i got 16mpg and thats driving it like its a drag car at every chance i could and the last 50 miles of it was pulling i70. and thats the best gas milage i was getting out of the 3.0 on the highway with the cruise set. i dont know y it got such bad milage my 93 i squeezed 21 out of it. but she runs like a dream. found ot today teh exhaust is a bit restrictive. it blew the gaskets out at the cat. so i need to take care of that soon. other then that no issues. i did have a very big tranny leak but it turns out it was just the t-case shifter. so if yours has a paper gasket on it dont reuse it. i did and it leaked like a sive. toyota dose not even show a gasket for it. it uses fip goo. so as my tube of it dried up long ago from working at toyota. i used some of the bevel gear sealer that we use on volvo. its almost the same stugg they but windscreens in with. so it should never leak again.
so the only things left on the list are front shaft and the tranny box. then later on redo the exhaust and the motor mounts.

Well, ....that might explain the 'troubles posting video's" etc! lol. Sorry to hear, but YOU'RE BACK WITH THE BEAST UPDATES! lol. How about some pics of just an all around view or 10 of the wiring job you did, the space in there, the underneath fitment, etc? WHENEVER, ...just wanna admire this thing MORE than I do already! Ok, I wanna envy your ambition and perseverance and skills!!!!!! HAHAHA, jk.

Nice job, man, ...great to hear on the 'passing everything like a raped ape' info!

When I get my computer back ill pit some pictures up. I dont know how to do it off of my phone. And I'm waiting for my tranny sim to put the wiring up. But all around she rims great. Only wish I had the A/C as its still in the 80s here. An when she is hot she don't want to start to well. It sounds like the pump isn't priming. Again don't know if the way I rewired it has anything to do with it. Since I started diving her again I have over looked some of the small issues just coz I'm so happy to be driving it again.

But my solid front swap may be sooner thin I was thinkin. If the axle I'm getting will work and I can sorce a saquoia rear full axle drum to drum. Or should I say rotor to rotor. Which will take care of my rear disc conversion as well. My friend swift he was gonna give me his 60 series front axle he has. So if it is the right width I'm lookin for and the saquoia is the want width ill do my three link with coil over front and have a bit wider stance without having the wheels sticking out off the axles where u can see the front brakes behind them. I like it all hidden an tucked away.

An thanks chef I love doing this wish I could start my own shop to do stuff like this. Can't wait to start my hatch. Then another 1uz again into a t100 in thinkin. But an auto with a supercarger.

Well I still don't have my computer but ill have a string of pictures to put up when I get it back. Today I went out to jims an picked up a axle housing. Speaking of jims if you all here in Denver am surrounding areas. Jim moved he is now out by i270 an I76 just east of York. But I also picked up a core rear diff too to make sure my gears would fit the e-locker diff. The gears are only different in one way it seems. The shaft on the pinion at the threads are smaller as well as the the downgrading where the seal rides. So I'm gonna use the flang from my diff and a pinion seal for my diff as well. Keep in mind I haven't put it together yet but from what I can see from the core diff I got it should work out as the only the one end of the pinion is not.the same. But now for the bad. When I opened the e-locker up I found that when if took the teeth of the ring it tried to push the diff apart and ripped the threads off the locking ring. But I got a quote today from Toyota and for all the bearings crush collar locking ring and seal its just under 200 smacks. So I may still come out good on this.
Again sorry for the lack of pictures but when I get my computer back ill post um up.

ok so i got my computer back. here is what i have been up to.

got the steering stabalizer in.

then got the other rear axle housing and did some modifications. i didnt get to weld on this as i didnt have a tank for my welder. so my friend at work did some more welding for me.

also got the front shaft in. i do need to rebuild both cardons. starting at 60 the driveshafts start vibrating like a mother.

here is the locker i got and what it looks like after i opened it up. i still want to know how he did it.

so the ring that is still on the carrier is the core diff i got from jim to see if the parts would transfer. the rings are the same size.
all the stuff on the left the pinion, bearings, sleave ect is all the locker stuff.
the only differance between the two i could find without puting it together and driving on it to make sure it would work is only about 3 things.
1.as you can see the bearings on the locker pinion are taller and the crush sleave is shorter. 2. the pinion shaft where the seal rides is smaller, but the outside of the seal where it fits into the case is the same size. and 3. the splines and nut on the nonlocker diff is smaller so the old style flang must be used.
dont hold me to this just yet as i have not set the diff up yet and drove on it. i still need about 200 bucks to get new bearings and a retainer ring on the locker sleave side as when it came apart it pushed the ring out and ripped the threads off of it. but as soon as i get it in i will let you all know. but if it works it would mean you would not have to buy new gears to match the front diff or sorce a new front diff to match the rear gears.
next when i did the swap the drivetrain moved back around 3 inches. i thought i took care of it when i cut the tunnel out and moved it back. but it was still to close. so i modified the shifters. and finnaly got to use my welder to make something and not just to practice. so making these was only the 6th or 7th time i have used a tig. i find it mugh easier then a mig personally.

first i cut the t-case shifter off and then took some of the rod that the lift kit comes with to extend the shifters and cut it down and knothced it.

tacked it and then made it permanent. o and the head from welding it kinda melted the glue that held it together so i just had to reglue it.

then moved on to the main shifter. as you can see from the picture i forgot the spring when i welded it. it was fun to get on there in the end.

and the end result. the shifter boot fits the way it should and i have no more road noise and heat coming up through the tunnel.
ill try to get some more work up for you guys.

this is at the top of kenosha pass.

then this is outside of breckenridge on highway 9.

then some pictures of the trail was on up in idaho springs going towards devils canyon i do belive the guy said it was.

this is where i had to turn around because i couldnt get through the snow. if i had my locker in would have been able to go the hole way.

Shaggy, WOW, what a great post!

It's awesome having followed this for a while, enjoying your patience with 'getting things JUST right' on so many angles.... and then to SEE YOU WHEELING IT LIKE YOU OWN IT! hahaha.

Great videos! Probably the darkness is just due to angle/light/snow combination. Snow can do that, just like when you turn the cam toward the sky, it darkens up dramatically from where you had it, right? It's just an adjustment of exposure thing. DANG CAMS AND THEIR MINDS OF THEIR OWN! lol.

Have fun, man! Safely of course, lol.

PS> SOUNDS great, too! Did you have a couple 'whining' points? I thought it was like steering or something...but went back and just sounds like the tranny doing it's thang? lol.

Thanks chef. Yeah the pump is in need of replacement. When I put it in I used the 3.0 pump banjo bolt. It's longer then the Lexus one an I think it deformed the inside of the pressure line fitting. So at low rpm I don't have power steering sometimes an it leaks from my use of the wrong bolt. Oops. Not like I can't fix it though.

Well I put some 295/75R16's on. Had to take the mud flaps off. Very close in the rear. But also noticed the bigger tires make her a little squirrely so its time to rebuild the front end. Will only cost me about 560 in parts hahahaha. As it were so easy.

Can't remember off hand, but the rear isn't locked, right? That would've stopped most of those dilemmas, lol. GREAT videos, man... that things sounds SICK!
