Sons 85 Toyota build

We bought this truck about 3 months ago. Got it home and it was 3 quarts low on oil checked it before I bought it and it was full. Had oil all over the bottom of the motor and the valves where making alot of noise now. So took it to a friend of mine and said the motor was toast only had 135lbs of compression in each cyclinder. Said that somebody had put JB weld in the timing cover to cover the leaking oil. So i bought a rebuilt engine from Oregon engine builders and got put in with very few problems. Did alot of work to clean up parts on engine bay and the underneath side of the truck. Now it looks like a brand new truck. I have few questions what year of brake booster, master cyclinder, calipers, and rotors can i put on to make it stop better?

v6 brake boosters & master cylinders from any v6 4runner/pickup 90+
I don't even have the v6 rotors and calipers in my 85 yet but wow what a difference it made. Brake feel is much better, its a must have IMO.

I have an '87 4runner dual diaphragm brake booster and master cylinder.

I also have the v6 minitruck calipers and vented rotors from an fj60.

This thing stops so much better then my old 4runner and I'm running 35" tires.

This is on an '85 extra cab.

Yes its on 85 xcab. We are struggling to get it ready for his 16th b-day which was last week. We still have alot of things we want to do to it but we can't get them done all at once. But my son thinks we can. Now we have a real bad exhaust leak on the manifold the engine builder thinks that I have a older exhaust manifold. So we have to take it back off now to see if it's the right year that's post to be on there.

So all that stuff bolts right up to my 85 with no modifications? It was the wrong exhaust manifold put the new one on and no leaks now sounds alot better.

some of it bolts right up, some you'll have to tweak a bit

All my stuff bolted right up.

I forgot to mention I also have the wider IFS rear axle with the larger brake drums.

Not so you will at the least have to bend one of the brake lines when upgrading the master cylinder

Ok yeah I bent some brake lines but it still bolted together without having to cut, weld or fabricate new parts.

I don't see any pictures.

Got all the parts put on the other weekend now it stops on a dime. HopefullyI can get the caliper and rotors put on in the next few weeks. Truck is coming along real good got the first 500 miles put on it and change the oil can't wait to put in royal purple when I hit that 2000 mile mark. I'll see if I can get some new pictures posted this weekend.

I swapped the brakes on my 4Runner with those off a 1995 Toyota T-100 1Ton.

Corax has a good install on them.
