Nice, outsane!

TIA,

Thanks, outsane! and greetings from North County I notice your work on the suspension bushings. I'm hearing squeaks on mine. Might have to replace them.

Outsane and folks,
May I have your recommendations for where to get suspension bushings? Got stock suspension soon to be Zuk'd. Not for hardcore wheeling, just taking me to trailheads.

Here is an image of the leak..

I threw a puddle weld on it... so glad I have a welder in the garage.

now that I am looking at the huge pic.. I can see a crack forming...

great... guess I'll have to remove the header and fix that some day..

Hell, I thought it was 200! My wife helped me take mine off this summer, so yes it can be done with a helper. Just know the rear end is much heavier (wiper motor).

10 years ago, the week I picked up my truck, I somehow, alone, removed the top without dropping it or damaging anything. I would never try that again!

Sorry, what is that?

I imagine it eliminates a "whine" from the stereo right? But what is it and how do you do it?

Sorry for the distraction

no worries phil..

I bought
http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Systems-...+loop+isolator

$7.85 free shipping (Amazon Prime member)

just connects inline for RCA connectors..
And yeah its there to cut down electrical noise, it was worse when I had my iphone, then it is now with the Samsung Galaxy III

My phone is connected through the headphone jack to the AUX on a really old alpine head unit..

One of these days I would like to go bluetooth... If I can get an amazing deal on a head unit..

You mind telling me what brand of header that is and overall with the luck you have had with it? Crack like that wouldnt worry me so much. I have a tough time getting them to seal to the head. I use Toyota exhaust gasket. I personally prefer the stock manifold just so as I can get a good seal, but those are getting harder to find.

Terry It's a Downey header I have had no issues with sealing.

Oh and I got 18 mpg at the last fill up. I think the bikini top helped aero a little.

Thanks Guys!
Joel ,
From what Jeep are your springs?

Guys,
What springs do you know that will not will not lift too much beyond stock, and could be used on no-cut/weld Zuk?

I already got Black Magic 12", 3-inch ID, 125#/inch, but am holding off because:
  • I might find springs that will not require lifting fronts.
  • Need to order polyurethane (hard like skateboard wheels) inserts to eliminate metal-to-metal contact between spring, frame and lef pack U-bolts.
