I really want to do this!! I would like to take another look at your dad's setup. Maybe take some pictures.
I currently have the brackets, compressor, and air tank to make it possible. Just want to check out wiring and tank location, etc...
I was thinking about possibly mounting the tank in the rear Where the spare tire used to be and having another female connection in the back to access an airline in the rear as well as the front.
Being able to use an air tool on the side of the road, or air up a tire for myself or someone else would be great!!!
I'm trying to head your way in Sunday. I think I can make an early day happen.

I think it is under the "Junk Yard Mods" Thread that someone used Cadillac air systems for an onboard air and had air chucks mounted in the inner fenders for what you are talking about. It is something I will get to someday/somemonth/someyear,lol.

This is on my wishlist for my truck Terry. They were using the compressor for the air ride suspension from a caddy. I would think the same thing could be duplicated from a Lincoln as well. But what they are talking about is converting the a/c compressor into an air compressor. I would think it would have more oomf than a caddy or Lincoln compressor.

Got to spend some time hanging out with my buddy Kornhuskerwizard today. Also with another buddy and two new friends that we made! Also yota nuts like all of us!!!!
Did a little wheeling and messing around by the river. I believe it was called the Yankee. Correct me if I'm wrong Chris.
Pretty fun stuff. We have video of us going down into it but still working on getting it posted up.
It was really cool because the river bottom was all slate and we were able to drive onto it. Here are a few pictures

The pictures and video do the hill no justice. It was pretty steep. Enough to peg out the inclometer.
