got the cab bolts out and the brake/fuel lines just need a bit of good weather and get a handful of friends together so we can achieve lift off

Man you are not kidding......That interior is nasty. I hate to see when people just neglect vehicles like that.

I find dead mice in trucks that have been sitting for awhile. I found one in the rocker panel. I removed the threshold piece and could see the skeleton of him thru the cut outs.

One thing about tearing a truck down as far as you are is that you can give it a good cleaning and then use some sound deadner on the floor boards. You can either replace the carpet or take the original carpet to the carwash and you will be surprised at what gunk comes out at the carwash. Even a nice everyday drivers carpet will get nasty.

I take bleach water mix and wipe the interior metal all down to sterilize the metal. With all interior pieces cleaned and washed, you will have a fresh smelling truck when done. Probably cleaner then most newer used cars out there.
