Glad to hear you got it all de-smoogged and tuned up running good again!

That sucks about the door and fender....."dude what you do" (in Chris Farley voice from "Tommy Boy") lol. You did an awesome job getting it all straightened out, can't even tell it even happened!

Thanks. Ya I felt like a dummy . To make it worse my neighbors witnessed the whole thing. My wife asked why the mailbox was all wobbly when she checked the mail Saturday...I couldn't think of a lie fast enough.

Had pretty much everything I needed laying around to run a new exhaust system . A buddy had 2 sticks of 2.25" pipe leftover from his buggy exhaust , I've had the header , my pops had a used magnaflow and a old banks tip and a assortment of hangers and hardware since my pops does exhaust @ his shop. So last Saturday I spent a few hours at his shop and we bent up a new system.

Exhaust looks great. I have also had not so great luck with that paint. Comes right off. Maybe there's a trick to it.

nice work on the exhaust, looks sweet!

I haven't had luck with the VHT paint either, I did my passenger side exhaust manifold that I replaced a few months back, it peeled right off first time I drove it. I had better luck with some cheap woodstove paint (don't remember the brand) my driverside manifold still looks good after 2 years.

Was at summit racing the other day and had some credit so I randomly bought a wilwood weld on quick release hub & Winston cup style grant steering wheel. Kinda mocked it up real quick on the truck and just didn't really like it. May just return them.

Ended up just putting my old wood grain momo on since I already had it & the hub to fit it. Much better than the giant 15.25" stock wheel. A little more twitchy with the 13" momo though. May add a steering stabilizer down the road.

My oldest daughter ( 4 ) has been bugging me to put a car seat in the Yota so she could go with me & the dog on runs in the hills around our house.

Ya she had a blast , super excited to ride in the front seat for the first time. Although she wasn't impressed when she asked to roll up the window and turn on the ac because of the wind blowing her hair around and the heat . After I told her that the Yota didn't have ac she got over it and decided it was cool rolling with the windows down. My 2 year old was pissed she didn't get to go lol. Maybe I'll have to build a 4runner ?
Usually when I take the family out in the hills we take my daily , windows up ac on lol

Sweet flex pics! I love the looks of your truck, I'd love to own a bobbed x-cab!

Kids are great at that age. I went to take mine to the bus stop this morning, they catch the bus about a mile down our driveway. (daughters 9, son is 6) On the way out to the car I asked them what do you want to take, the SUV or the red truck? I half expected to hear 2 different answers, but instead I heard " the red truck" almost like they were singing in harmony with each other, lol. Put a smile on my face! My boy was yelling for me to go faster on the straight aways, almost took out a slow flying grouse!

Ya kids are great. Most see my Yota in the road and cringe , but the kids think it's rad ! One day I'll have to cut my cab & cage the back for a bench or build a runner.

Really like how my rancho 44044s work up front. Still got 1" or more of shock left in the pic and spring would be flat without going negative if I bottomed it.

Bummed about the amount of droop on the rear chevy 63s. They uptravel fine. I still got about 1.5" to go before shock is bottomed in pic and the leaf isn't close to flat , but gotta work on getting some more droop .

Gotta love dingos n toyota. Got mine together enough to make a trial run around the block and play on the dirt pile a bit. Not maxed out but as good as I could do with no front driveshaft and an open rearend. My dog and daughter were along for the ride.

Did a little trading with a local race shop. Came out of the deal with some fox 2.0 pro series emulsion shocks & spacers. Although not shiny & new , the shop fully rebuilt them for me both shock & reservoir . I'm thinking id see the best improvement up front where most of the weight is. Gonna clean them up some and play around with mounting the reservoir hopefully this weekend.
