I need to give the plastidip a try. Lighted gauges are a good thing. The factory gauges are not the best eventually want to get some in mine.

I really like plasti dip. Prep is almost not needed , and it's pretty durable stuff.
The previous owner of the truck installed the oil psi guage because he lost 3 22r engines due to loss of oil psi. So he no longer trusted the factory gauge . By the time the dummy light comes on its usually too late.

Got off my butt and installed my fox 2.0s today. No time to test ( stupid daylight savings ) .
Had to grind quite a bit off the sides of cap to fit inside my ford shock towers.

I smashed it through a pretty rough dirt lot today down the street from the shop and they felt really really nice. My rear is still stupid stuff. Gonna sell all 4 procomps and pick up some better rear shocks soon.

Thanks man. It's been a very slow build. But after almost 3 years I am very happy overall with it. There's some things I'd change , and it should be alot cooler at this point ... But I have too many hobbies / projects & interests so the money and time gets spread around.
Get into your new place and get the tools out and go to work.

Ever deal with hydraulic throw out bearings, and a leaking problem? I have a brand new McCleud throw out bearing that decided it wanted to leak, and I have a rebuild kit for it but haven't messed with it.

Those shocks look like they would make the ride a lot better. Something I will want to look into when I get to that stage. I want a smooth ride. You still liking them and the ride?

Ya man from my experiance those universal mcleods are weak. We used many in manual trans swaps for old hot rods and most end up leaking or blown out. In fact I have a couple lightly used McLeod slaves here if you end up needing parts. The fittings going into the slave need to be really tight and the steel braided lines have o-rings that don't seem to last long. Can be a major pain to bleed if ran dry. The depth of the bearing is adjustable and if not set proper it will blow it out.
They do though have great customer service & warranty.

I haven't even really driven it much , but it was noticeably smoother . Since I put the foxes up front I sold the pro comp front & rear shocks to fund some bilsteins for my rear. Then my radiator blew a seam. So I pulled the rad and took it to my buddy's radiator shop for repairs. Also picked up some shims to correct my pinion angles , so that will be addressed soon.

Yeah I'm thinking that if it continues to be a huge pain I'm going to have to look into other options. It doesn't seem like it has consistent pressure from one use to the next.

X2^ really like following your progress!....Anything new?

Hey OldernDirt do you have a build thread? I was checking out the pics of your 4Runner, looks like you've done quite a bit to it, if you don't already have a build thread you should start one, I'd like to see some more!

Thanks olderndirt & rusted.
Only update as of now is I had my radiator completely rebuilt. My buddy owns a radiator shop and he talked me out of buying a aluminum radiator . He is a big fan of the old copper $ brass radiators. So he pulled mine all apart and completely cleaned it out and added lots of silver solder to the tanks & outlets .
