New to the yota world 1st gen

So I'm new to the yota world. I pick up big blue from a man for 1200 back in February and started work on it. Mechanical the truck is sound although I do have a few electrical problems with dash lighting and the headlights and park light. After the bed is finished I plan on wiring all the lighting into rocker switches to bypass the factory harness. All work has been done by me and my old man. Hope y'all enjoy and maybe throw out a few ideas on the lighting.

Good looking truck. I'd strongly suggest that you raise that bed up a little or your gonna cut those tires all to pieces upon flexing.

Notice how high up mines mounted

Thank you toyota boy. In the beginning we discussed the wheel clearance on the bed. I'm not looking to do any serious off roading in this thing although the kid may come out of me one of these days. It's just more of a hunting rig and a rig to use around the ranch. As far as the clearance goes since those pics have been taken I have added new helper springs to the back to pick it up a little. We put the bed back on and flexed the wheels. I have a bout a 1" of clearance after the stops hit on the frame. I plan to leave it the way it is for now and see how things go. Hopefully in the next couple weeks the bed will be complete and put back on for some final pictures. I am ready to get mean green complete and out on the road. The electrical is going to be a booger for me.

Your truck is coming along nicely, I like the color choice. Your flatbed looks sweet, reminds me of my second 83' I had... If my current one didn't have a decent bed on it I'd total make it a flatbed, I just like the looks of them! Keep up the good work!

I love that front bumper!
Do you have any other shots of it in process or behind it?

good looking little rig. You're pretty much on the same track as I am, minus the flatbed. I'll be repairing my bed.

Sorry guys. I've been busy as hell and haven't had much time to sit down and put up new pics. My truck is complete and if you go to my profile I have put up several new pics.
Thatnks for all the likes and hope y'all enjoy.

The pics were loaded from my iPhone. I don't know why they are smudged
