Wanted GAS TANK SENDING UNIT PLATE....
Looking for a third Gen 4Runner Gas Tank Top plate with all the goodies attached. What that is is the Plate where the sending unit, fuel pump and pickup are attached to. Sending unit and low fuel light must be in working order.
Let me know

the guage sender with the low level light is a whole different assembly than the fuel pump hanger assembly
both units mount in the fuel tank of course
next to each other
you need to be more specific on which you need ?
or do you need both ?
i have the fuel pump hanger assembly from my 88 i jnked last week, good pump and all
it is not the fuel guage sender unit one
the latter are VERY difficult to find in good working order and new ones are over 100 bucks
i looked for the entire 4 years that i had my 88 and never did locate one
virtually impossible to
i even found a "good used" one from a forum member for 20 bucks and it ended up being bad too
good luck

things must have changed because the tanks i have opened have the plate/hanger, pump, pick-up and sending unit all on the same plate/hanger. This is a 3rd Gen 4Runner i am talking about here.
Thanks though

I would just want that top plate and the "stuffs" attached to it. Are you talking the hard lines for vapors, fuel delivery, and return lines?
If that is the case i dont need those--just the plate without the hoses that connect to the hose fittings on the plate.
Thanks
P.S.--is it in working condition?

I cut them when I scrapped the truck, I had to remove the tank and just cut them with some bolt cutters. I can get you a pic of it if you want. It was working fine when I pulled it out a few months ago. It still has the fuel pump and sender in the tank.

Yes please--i am not sure what you are talking about. If the hose attachment on the plate was cut then i cant use it. If just the hoses going to the tank were cut then that is ok.
