Ive got a couple of questions about these, so here are the answers, lol

1) sent me the payment, either money order, cashiers check, or check (but PM me first) and once the M.O. or checks clear, I will ship out the arms. no deposit needed

2) once you get them switched, send me your stock arms. no down time at all.

3) I will need your "stock" arms, for the next set.

we are NOT doing this for a living, or plan to, this is being done as a "Thank You" to the Yotatech community, for all that you fine people have done to keep this place a great forum.
If we sell one set a year, or ten, doesnt matter to me, I did mine, I bought a used set (off another member here) got them done, installed them, then had my stock ones done, just passing along the great deal to who ever wants it.

Can you clarify what you gain by using these?

The only reason I ask is that they do not "look" like they are shaved very much. So, I would imagine these are designed to enable running 285's on stock rims. Is that right?

you are correct, without using a spacer.

Cool, cheap price too. Do you weld in a plate to make up the difference?

I run a set that Sonoran Steel modified. They are shaved quite a bit more with plates welded in on 3 sides. They enable me to run 315's with stock backspaced wheels.

IMO, stock a-arms are just as good as the expensive after market ones.

Those are not going to work with a 12.5" wide tire (315/75/16) on a 4.5" BS rim. The turning radius is still obstructed.

It's always nice to think up something original as well.

thats probley true, since Im not running a 315/75 I didnt need it to be shaved anymore, and if someone wanted to buy the arms, and planned on running 315s, well shave it more (at no charge) so they can run 315s, but Im sure not everyone is running or even wants to run 315s.
The way its shaved, works great for a 285.

what do you mean by that ?

Ric- Am I correct in assuming these are [only] for the 3rd generation 4Runners?

Last weekend I picked up an 04 SR5 V6 and immediately purchased the 3" OME set-up from Toytec (GREAT guys to work with!!). The problem is- I've read even I net a true 3 inches in the front, I may still have issues clearing a 285-70-17 / 285-75-16. Will your shaved UCA's fit the 4th generation so I can clear my anticipated tire size?

If not, I currently own a 99 Limited with the OME HD set-up and I have never been able to clear a 285 series on this one, either. So, I may end up buying them the 99 T4R if they will not work on the 04.

Sorry for all the questions on my first post... I just want to make sure I'm lifting the new T4R correctly so I can avoid any future headaches.

GREAT SITE!!!

Mark
